7 The next morning, Raerdel woke to the sensation of floating. Opening her eyes, she realized that she was clothed and that Sindri was carrying her toward the castle. The sun was shining and she nuzzled his chest. “I’m glad you’re awake, though I was trying to give you a few more minutes to rest. How are you feeling?” Sin’s voice was soft but concerned. Looking up at his face, she smiled. “Well loved, and deliciously sore. I don’t feel any of the pain from yesterday, though. Are we going to see your aunt?” Sin nodded and stopped to lean down and kiss her gently.
