The first thing I did was take off my heels while maintaining eye contact with Kaelion.
This had been my plan all along. Publicly humiliate him in front of his pack members then get him alone.
Earlier in the kitchen, I had slipped a knife into my purse without attracting anyone’s notice.
I had no idea whether I could take him down or not yet I was willing to take my chances.
