I had no regrets about what had earlier happened with Claire. I only saw an opportunity and decided to use it to my advantage.
Claire’s action took me a bit by surprise though, she looked so innocent but now I knew exactly who she was.
Her coming to see me was all a trick to provoke me which I fell for.
“I know you don't trust me, I don't trust you either but it's really simple. I would have killed her way before you even intervened if I wanted to,” I said, looking at Kaelion.
He said nothing afterwards and only walked away quietly while I wondered why he came to the cell in the place.
“It probably makes him so happy to see me here,” I muttered, lying down on the blanket one of the guards had earlier given to me.
This was my second night being taken captive under Kaelio
