This was it.
I had reached my limit. I was no longer going to fight this.
Maybe this was how it was meant to be, maybe there was no way I was ever going to win against Kaelion.
He was faster, stronger after all, and had a whole pack that would never allow anyone to touch him. There was no way I would ever be able to hurt him.
I had no one. Only a sick father, a teenage brother, a mother who has to take care of what remains of our family, and no pack.
“Tell me what I have to do so we can end this,” I mumbled.
“You can start by telling me why you think your father did this, it’s the only thing I have not been able to figure out,” He replied.
“You should keep looking, there should be something that links your pack to him. Once you find it, you get your answer,” I said.
