Chapter 9 The clubhouse was dark, and I was surprised it was unlocked when I tried the front door. I thought it best not to announce my presence. The whole place seemed spooky quiet, especially compared to the usual hubbub of noise. Staying as calm as I could and using the natural night light coming in the windows, I began my tour all over again. There were three logical places for Katie to be.
