NIHARIKA'S COTTAGE

Today Niharika didn't go to her flower shop . As she wants to spend some time with her daughter . So now she is in the kitchen and making Manvi's favourite cookies .

Suddenly the door bell is ringing . But her hand is engaged so it is impossible for her to go and open the door .

" Mannu ... Baccha can you please open the door ? " She shouts from the kitchen .

Manvi who is busy in the drawing room with her dolls , stands up and goes towards the door to open it .

As soon as she opens the door , her eyes fall on the stranger standing infront of her .

" Yes .. Who are you ? " She asks politely .

But the man is too shocked to answer back .. His face is pale as if he sees some ghost.

" Hello ! Who are you ? What do you want ? " Manvi again asks .

This time also she doesn't get any answer .

Manvi , who does not used to get ignorance from anyone , can't take that the stranger is ignoring her .

Suddenly she stamps his foot with irritation . And finally her this trick works and she gets the attention of the stranger .

"Ouch ! " The man winches in pain .

" Serves you right mister . Noone is ever allowed to ignore Manvi Khurana . You understand ? " She points her one finger towards the man and shouts in her baby voice .

Suddenly Niharika calls her from the kitchen .

" Mannu .... Who is there ? Ask him or her to wait ! I am coming . " Niharika shouts from the kitchen .

Suddenly Manvi makes a puppy face from her angry Avtar .

She tugs the man's trouser with her small hand .

The man looks at her and asks " What happens now ? "

She again tugs his trouser and asks him to bend in her level .

As soon as he bends , she whispers in his ear slowly , " Listen Mumma is coming . Please don't say her that I stamped your foot . Please ? I will give you my favourite cookies . Pukka promise . Please ? Or else Mumma will again scold me . "

The man starts to laugh by seeing her this attitude . Suddenly his laughter stops as soon as his eyes fall on something .

Niharika , who is a little worried as Manvi doesn't answer her back , comes in the drawing room . Her eyes fall on her daughter who is talking with a man . She can not able to see the man's face as he is bending himself in Manvi's level .

But after a few seconds , his laughter enters in her ears . The sound ... The sound is very well known to her . It is the same sounds which once always made her happy . She stops in her track . Her face turns pale .

" Na.... Nachiket ..... " She whispers slowly .

And exactly same time the man looks at her direction . The laughter from his eyes is completely gone as soon as his eyes fall on her .

His furious brown eyes meet with her black one . Finally !

NACHIKET'S P.O.V.

My driver stops his car infront of a small cottage . It is a very beautiful cottage sarounding by a garden . Any other day , I will love to spend my time on this beautiful garden . But not today ! Today I have many important things to do . Today I need to confront Miss. Murty .

So I march towards the door and ring the bell .

After few minutes someone opens the door .

Assuming it is Niharika , I am making myself ready to attack her with my questions .

But before that , one sweet voice enters in my ears .

" Yes ! Who are you ? " One small girl asks me cutely .

With a smile I look at the girl standing infront of me .

But as soon as my eyes fall on her , my smile dried .

Infront of me standing a chubby cheeks girl with deep moulted chocolate eyes.

One look at her and no DNA test needs to say that she is my daughter . Or rather to be specific , she is mine and Niharika's daughter .

" Niharika ... You ... You were pragnant ? " I whisper slowly .

This new found information makes me more angry towards Niharika .

Not only she suddenly left me without telling anything but also she dared to hide the fact that she was pragnant from me . She snatched my right to be with my daughter when she was born . And for this I am not going to forgive her .

Suddenly I can feel someone is stamping my foot .

" Ouch . " A sound comes out from my mouth due to pain .

Then again , the same voice enters in my ears . But this time the voice is little angry .

"Serves you right mister . No one is ever allowed to ignore Manvi Khurana . You understand ? " The little girl shouts in her baby angry voice .

She is really my daughter . She is exactly like me .. Same anger .

So her name ... My daughter's name is Manvi ! But why Khurana ? She should be Malhotra . It is her right . She is the daughter of Nachiket Malhotra .

With this thought I look at her . As soon as my eyes fall on her , a chunkle comes out from my mouth .

She is really looking cute with her angry pout , red cheeks and round eyes .

" Just like her mother . " I whisper slowly .

Suddenly I freez on my place . As a sound comes from inside .

The voice , which is very well known to me . The voice which I want to listen like a mad man since last 6 years . The voice which was like a song to me . The voice which belongs to the only woman I even love .

" Niharika .... " I whisper slowly .

Suddenly I feel a tug on my trouser . I come out from my thoughts and look at Manvi who is tugging my trouser with her small hand .

" What ? " I want to know .

She again tugs it and asks me to bend in her level.

With a soft smile , I bend in her lavel and the she whispers on my ears , "Listen Mumma is coming . Please don't say her that I stamped you foot . Please ? I will give you my favourite cookies . Pukka promise . Please ? Or else Mumma will again scold me . "

I can not control my laugh as soon as I see that she suddenly turns to a puppy from the angry kitten as soon as Ni'harikas voice enters in her ears .

So I start to laugh . My carefree, innocent laugh . Which died when Niharika left me all those years ago . And today finally her .... No no our daughter helps me to find it again .

Suddenly my laughter died as soon as my eyes fall on the figure standing behind Manvi .

Finally ! There stands Niharika Khurana . My girlfriend and now mother of my daughter . Who just left me without saying anything all those 6 years ago .

The pain , the heart break , the loneliness of all these years start to come infront of my eyes . This woman .... This woman is only responsible for everything . Noway I am going to forgive her . I need to answers and no matter what today I will not go any where before I get them .

" Nachiket .... " She whispers slowly .

As soon as her voice enters in my ears , I close my eyes as it is already starting to get teary . No Nachiket Malhotra today you can't get weak . Today you need to be strong . Today you need to be monster Nachiket . Today you need to force Nandini to tell you entire think .

So I wipe my all emotions and opens my eyes which already turn cold and furious .

I stand up from my bending position and reply back with a mock smile , " So finally Niharika Khurana can recognise me ? What a surprise ! "

NACHIKET'S P.O.V. ENDS

Niharika who is still standing in the same position closes her eyes as soon as Nachiket's bitter voice enters in her ears . The voice which was once full of love for her , now turns bitter . But why ? Shouldn't he is the one who is guilty here ? So how could he just come and accused her ?

So with determinations, Niharika opens her eyes . Then her eyes fall on Manvi and suddenly realisation comes in her .

" s**t !! Nachiket comes to know about Mannu already . What if .... What if he tries to snatch her from me ? Then ? But no ... No ... I will never let him snatch her . He already snatched my all happiness from me but I will never let him take Mannu too . " She whispers slowly .

Nachiket who is observing Nandini with his entire attention , doesn't take a long time to understand her inner thoughts .

A bitter smile stretches on his lips as soon as he understands how much low Niharika thinks about him . But still he controls himself . As he doesn't want to shout infront of Manvi .... Their daughter . The fight of her parents is the last thing her daughter needs to see .

Suddenly Niharika breaks the silence and tells Manvi , " Mannu can you please go to your room and play ? I need to discuss something important with this uncle ."

As soon as Manvi went from there , she asks Nachiket with a angry voice ,

" Why are you here Mr. Malhotra ? What do you want now ? "

" Wow ! Miss. Khurana ! How bad ! No hey , hello ! No greatings ? Is it a way to talk with you ex-boyfriend ? "Nachiket asks in a mock funny tone .

" Mr. Malhotra ! Cut the crap and tell me what do you want ? "Niharika replies back in an angry voice .

" Ok ! When you want to talk about the business , the let me put it in this way only . What about for begining , you first tell me how dare you to hide about my daughter from me ? "Nachiket shouts back angrily .

Niharika closes her eyes for a moment . The moment about which she was afraid since Manvi was born , finally here . Finally she needs to answer this man who apprently is Manvi's father about her . But does he really deserve to know ? No ! Never ! After what he did with them , he doesn't deserve to know about Manvi !

She opens her eyes with determinations and replies back in a cold voice , " Manvi.is.not.your.daughter. Never ever try to claim her as your daughter . "

Nachiket who is taken aback by her sudden cold voice , answers back in rage , " Really ? Then who is her father ? Don't tell me ki she is God gifted ! "

" She is my daughter . Mine and my husband's . "Niharika replies back with closing her eyes .

Nachiket who is shocked to know about " the husband " , looks at her angily . One look at her and like always he understands that she is lying .

" Niharika you are still a worst lier . " He murmurs slowly .

" Accha you got married ? So bad ! Miss Khurana , you forget to inform you old friend opps ! Ex-boyfriend in your marriage ? How mean ! "Nachiket replies back in a cold tone .

"Mr. Malhotra stop your darama and get out from here . I don't want to see you again . " Niharika answers back angrily .

Nachiket's this cool attitude is now getting into her nerves . She is a little surprised . If it was old Nachiket then till now he will burst into anger . But this Nachiket is worst . He is soo cold so aloof .

" Are ayse kaise ? I need to meet with your husband . Do you know for some man to man talks ? Akhir he too needs to know Bout his wife's habit . " Nachiket replies back .

" Habit ? Wh...what are you talking about ? "Niharika asks with confusion .

" Are your habit of leaving someone suddenly when you get bored with them , without any explanations . Does not he too need to know about? Who knows may be one day you will leave him also ? "Nachiket replies back with mock seriousness .

" Nachiket ! Just shut up ! How the hell are you to accuse me like this ? Look at yourself first . "Niharika answers back in equal anger .

" Really Niharika Khurana ? You are accusing me now ? Oh ! Yes.. I am the one who left you six years ago without telling anything . I am the one who just disappeared as if nothing happened ! As if the other one of that relationship didn't matter at all . And obviously I am the one who decided to hide the biggest truth of our life from you . And definitely you are the one who like an i***t waited for me when you needed me the most ! Who always wonders what was your fault that the person who showed me the dream of a hamesha left me without turning back for once . " Nachiket shouts back angrily . But in last his voice starts to chock , as his eyes are already getting teary .

Niharika is taken aback by the sudden outburst of Nachiket . But still as per her he is the one who betrayed her .

" No Nachiket Malhotra you are the one who chooses to betray me behind my back . Who thought it was okey to sleep around in my absence . What did you think ? Niharika was too innocent to find out the truth ? What did you want Nachiket ? That even after finding your ghatiya harquat I will stay with you ? For what ? So that you, again and again, can fooled me ? Why Nachiket why ? We were so happy ! Why did you destroy everything ? " Niharika shouts back in same anger .

The anger , sadness everything she bolts up in her start to comeout in form of anger .

" What ! What are you saying ? " Nachiket whispers slowly .

" Why Nachiket ! Are you shocked to know that I already knew about your true face ? I already knew about your dirty secret ! I already saw everything . "Niharika answers back .

" What ... What are you talking ? My secret ? What did you see ? " Nachiket whispers back .

" Why ? Didn't your fiance inform you about it ? Didn't she tell you what do exactly I see all those 6 years back ? "Niharika asks with mock surprise .

" Nandini stop batting around the bush and tell me clearly ! Why are you dragging Rhea in between us ? " Nachiket this time shouts back .

" I don't need to drag her . She was always there . That day I saw you two together . You both were sleeping with each other . Rhea told me . " Niharika shouts back .

" What ! What did you see ? "Nachiket asks as he himself can not believe what he is listening . He and Rhea !

" Yes Nachiket ! Next day of that party I came to visit you . You were not picking my calls . So I was worried . When I rang the bell , Rhea opened the door

She was in your shirt . That time she told me that you proposed her and both of you are together . Why Nachiket why ? And after doing everything you still has the face to ask me why I left you ? Why didn't I tell you about Manvi ? "Niharika replies back angrily .

" Enough Niharika Khurana . Enough . Rhea told you and you too accept it ? Itna hi bhorosa tha mujhpe ? Humara pyaar pe ? Didn't you think ki you should come and ask me ? One third person said you something and you just believed and left me ? Great ! "Nachiket roars in anger .

" But Nachiket ... Rhea ... Why should she lie ? One can never lie regarding the physical relationship ." Niharika wants to know .

" Only Rhea can answer your this question . Waise bhi you trust her more than me . So it will be better if your "trusted person" only answer your questions . So just come with me . Rhea is in hotel . Let's go . " Nachiket replies back in angry voice .

" But Nachiket ! Manvi ? " Ni harika asks in low voice . As she already starts to think again about her own decisions .

" I am calling Cabir .. He will take care of her . And don't worry . If you can't trust me , at least trust Cabir ! He will not hurt "your" daughter . "Nachiket replies back sarcastically .

After calling Cabir and ask him to look after Manvi , they leave to the hotel to confront Rhea Saxsena .
