I ROLLED OFF my bed. Birds were singing near my window. I gave a small laugh as I went to the window and looked out. The sun was beginning to rise above the hilly horizon. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath before j went to the bathroom to wash up and prepare for the day.
I didn't have anything to do today. No warrior training, no nanny duties, so I decided that I would go to the healers center and spend some time with Bonnie - who was my closest friend in the pack. I did not have any beef with any other person my age, but neither were they my friends. Especially not after my clash with Lucy who was the big deal around here.
