"IS ANYONE THERE?" I called out fearfully. This was Rogue County and I knew it. I was in dangerous lands, but I couldn't see anyone out there.
I turned a full circle, it looked like I was alone, but I could feel a presence nearby. I glanced in the direction from where I had heard the snap of a twig. Although it was afternoon, the depth of the woods was darkened by the canopy of trees. I tried to get my bearings right so I could return back to the pack.
After standing in a spit for almost 5 minutes, I finally admitted to myself that I was lost.
"I guess that means we are without a pack," Thea said.
