Planning for the Furture

Simple work from the bottom up. I'll make a offer, once I have enough experience I ask him to transfer is share to me and I work and pay him for it,the transaction while only be between us as I will still apoint him to stay on the board until I can fully pay him off. With his amount of share plus the amount I add, I pass on to me my true me parents when I obtain enough knowledge and a mentor to guide me, which will be Mr M. I'll have up to 75% of the company, which means I be the head, and my uncle won't even know what hit him when the time comes. Just hope he knows how to save. "Wow, can you believe it? My baby's all grown up," Alli teased, a playful grin on her face. "One minute you're here, the next you're out job hunting. Time really flies." I chuckled, rolling my eyes. "Very funny. But seriously, I need to talk to Mr. M about work experience and get his approval before we can go job hunting." "All right, in the meantime, let's watch a movie on Netflix," Alli suggested, sinking comfortably into the couch. She shot me a mischievous look. "Why are you looking at me like that? My belly's full, and I'm not ready to call it a night just yet. Besides, there's this movie on Netflix I've been dying to watch." "Okay, fine," I relented with a smirk. "You're right as usual." "Of course, it pays to be smart," Alli replied with a wink. "Now, what's the name of the movie? I'll search for it while you get the popcorn ready." "Didn't we just finish eating? What's with the popcorn?" I teased. Alli feigned offense, placing a hand dramatically over her heart. "Ouch, that hurts! Just because we ate doesn't mean we can't enjoy some snacks while watching a movie. Now, get your lazy ass in the kitchen and get the snacks ready." "Fine, fine," I laughed, standing up. "I'm going, I'm going." With popcorn popping in the microwave, I took a moment to catch my breath and clear my mind from the uncertainties looming ahead. I had plenty on my plate to ponder, but for now, spending time with my best friend, who was more like a sister, seemed like the perfect distraction. "Now, it's not because she didn't slaughter me for her car," I chuckled to myself, remembering our playful banter. After a couple of rounds of movies and popcorn, I stretched and glanced at the clock. "Wow, those were really good. I've missed having these movie marathons with you." "Me too," Alli agreed, a nostalgic smile tugging at her lips. "With everything going on, it's nice to relax and have fun any way we can, without the weight of responsibilities bearing down on us." "True," I nodded. "But now, nature calls. I've had about three liters of juice." "Down the hall, to your left," Alli called after me as I headed for the restroom. "Take your time." "Thanks!" I called back over my shoulder with a grin. "Wow, that feels good," I muttered to myself as I finished in the bathroom. "Ever use the restroom and feel like a world of burden has been lifted off your shoulders? That's how I feel right now." Returning to the living room, I rejoined Alli on the couch. "So, what's the plan for the rest of the night?" Alli playfully adopted a poor British accent. "Ah, that was the poorest British accent I've ever heard in my life." I laughed. "Well, you love it, though." "As truthful as that is, I'm tired," Alli admitted. "I think I'll turn in early. We have a busy day ahead—finding you a job and me enduring three long hours of AP mathematics." "Fair enough," I agreed. "But I think I'll stay up a bit longer." --- **The Cliffhanger:** --- The next morning came quicker than expected, the sunrise filtering through the windows as I woke with a start. Alli was already up and about, her voice breaking the silence of the morning. "Hey hon, you're up early," she greeted me with a hint of concern. "Yeah," I replied, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "What time did you turn in last night?" "Not sure, maybe around one or two," Alli shrugged nonchalantly. "And you're up already?" I asked incredulously. Alli smiled wryly. "Anxiety and nerves mixed together tend to wake you up early." "What do you have to be anxious or nervous about?" I prodded gently, sensing something was amiss. "Well, for starters, Mr. M could say no to the work experience idea, leaving me stuck in class," I began, my voice betraying a touch of worry. "Or he could approve it, and I might struggle in whatever job I manage to get. And even if I do get a job, it might not be in the field I need to gain experience in, wasting my time and effort." "All right, take a deep breath," Alli interrupted softly, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "Firstly, you're the college golden girl. Mr. M won't turn you down. Secondly, getting an internship at a respectable company fresh out of college isn't easy. Work with whatever you get for now, earn some money, start saving or investing in your future. You'll need funds to achieve your goals. Whatever happens, I've got your back. So, calm down, and let's get ready to catch the morning bus to campus. I have an early meeting with Mr. Damian to prep for next week's dishes." "Right, prepping for next week's dishes," I echoed half-heartedly, the thought not entirely comforting. "Anyway, thanks, Alli. I needed that." "I knew you would," Alli replied with a knowing smile. "I brewed some fresh coffee in the kitchen. I know how you get without your morning coffee." "Ah, coffee," I sighed, my mind racing with thoughts of the day ahead. "How hard can it be to find a job nowadays?"
