Celeste tried to force herself to breathe normally
It won't help you if you wear yourself out, she told herself. Still, she found herself hyperventilating as she ran blindly in never-ending circles. She tried to trace her steps back but it was futile. She had tried to stay quiet because she knew soldiers could still be lurking about. But Celeste's panic was growing with every second.
"Thomas?" She cried out desperately. Once again she was met with nothing but silence. Horrible gut-wrenching fear had her trembling all over.
"KAREN?" She screamed hoarsely.
"We're over here!" A faint voice cried out from a distance. Celeste nearly fainted from the relief. She rushed towards Karen's voice, in her hurry to get to them she kept crashing into trees. Her already aching body throbbed painfully
