Sasha Airstorm died. She was gone for three minutes. The panic I felt all those years ago, all returned in one fell swoop and suddenly I was some dumb kid all over again. The moment she fell to her side and her wings evaporated, I knew something was more than wrong. The way her skin lost its silver glow, how the darkness faded out of her hair.
