Chapter Ten

Finally, the bell went off everyone cleared out except for us and the Silver Moon pack. I wanted to see what Axel will do now that no one else is here.

Axel stood and I followed suit we were only about six feet apart at this point. I wanted to punch him in his cocky face. I won’t though. I was going to step aside and show Axel we really aren't here to start a fight.

Next thing I knew I heard a deep growl and all of their warriors were submitting to Natalia. I looked at her face and her eyes were gold. Next thing I knew she was in between her brother and myself. "Leave" was all she said.

Damn the authority she had was hard to fight against. Zion was fighting with me at this point. Touch mate. Kiss mate. He kept nagging me. I told him to take it slow. We took a step forward to see if she would let us.

I have never been this unsure. I didn't know what will happen. She just looked at me at first then stepped closer to me. I let down my guard. What came next I never expected. She punched me in my jaw so hard I flew a few feet back into James. That hurt so bad. Damn there are few others that hit like that.

I shock it off and stood back up. Signaling for James and Ryan to stand down. I know they want to protect me, but I won't let them touch her. I look up to see her two guards next to her and Axel had her held against him. He kept asking Chloe to give Natalia back. So that’s her wolf.

Zion was howling with pride and talking about how strong his mate is. He kept fighting with me for control. He wanted to talk to her and meet her wolf. I couldn't let him though.

Out of nowhere she head butted him and was out of his grip. She was facing him. Then her two guards tackled her to the ground. I growled at them for touching my mate. How dare they. Ryan and James grabbed my shoulder to keep me here. Watching.

Axel bent down and tried to reason with Chloe but nothing was getting through to her. She wasn't going to let Natalia come back. Finally she stilled for a long time. Her and Natalia must have been talking.

After awhile the two on her got off her and she ran into her brothers arms crying and apologizing. I nodded for us to leave and we took off to our pack house.

The whole way was in silence. We were all lost in our own thoughts. When we got to the house we headed to my office.

"What was that about?" Ryan finally asked breaking the silence.

"I don't know" I really didn't know and wish I did.

"I think I know what happened. Alpha when you challenged their pack, even though you wanted to mess with her brother, she is still an Alpha too and her wolf took over."

"I screwed up" I said out loud even though it was supposed to be in my head.
