Chapter Nine

925 Words
Tristan P.O.V. I woke up with a migraine. Last night after we left the club I drank myself stupid. I was pissed and I wanted to drown out Zion from trying to talk to me. Ryan barged into my room with a tray in his hand, slamming the door hard. "Dude can you be quite" I yelled. "Fine I just will leave and take the food with me" sarcastic bastard. He turned to leave. "No give me the food" I caved for the food. He took a seat next to me on my bed and handed me the food bacon, eggs, and hash browns. I started eating in silence. Halfway through Ryan finally asked what my plan is. "I don't know. I want to get to know her, but I don't know if she wants to. Even if she does how will we go about everything?" "Well I have an idea that can get us close, but this will be a long run game dude." I raised my eyebrow to tell him to explain. "So you aren't going like this for several reasons. We should transfer to the human school they like to go to. Like I said it will be a long run game. We don't know what she has told to who. So James, you, and myself will enroll. Her brother will keep his guard up, but eventually he will let his guard down just enough for you to talk to her. Maybe she will even find a way to you. It will get us closer to her. Plus it will leave all the warriors here to still protect the pack. They can still mind link us if they need us." Hmm maybe he is right. Then again Axel could take it as a threat and see it as an act of us starting war. We never said we wouldn't enroll there plus it is neutral territory. Zion starting yelling at me to do it. He just wanted to be close to her. "Go ahead and set everything up. Have us start Friday." I told Ryan. ..... The week went in a flash and it was finally Friday. God did I make the right choice. I wanted my mate but my pack comes first. They don't deserve a war because I want to be selfish. Shut up. Its not their territory we are going to so we will be fine. Zion growled out. Taking deep breaths I threw on blue jeans ans a simple black shirt. I go down stairs and Ryan and James are on their phones waiting for me. They sensed my presence and looked up. "Ready?" James asked. I just nodded my head and we took off. We made sure to get their early to check into the office. After checking in we headed out into the halls. A lot of their pack is here they moved out of the way and kept away from us. I made sure to go to my locker and opened it so that was news we are enrolled here gets out. After that we head to the field by the bleachers making sure I can see the parking lot. I watched as most of her pack started leaving. I didn't care though I just wanted to see her. A midnight blue Z28 Camaro car pulled up and I could see the change in the warriors who stayed. I straightened up waiting for her. She got out of the car and she is even more gorgeous then the first time I saw her. Her blonde hair up in a bun and she was wearing all black. Even in casual clothes you could make up her full body. My bulge in my jeans was getting harder and I just wanted to go over there and mark her as mine. I restrained myself though and just kept watching. The 15 warriors who stayed surrounded her and her brother. He was looking around for us but we stayed to the shadows. Finally, they started heading to the school. I was filled with hope that I might be able to talk to her since she stayed. We followed silently. She had two personal guards. As classes started the three of us tried to see if there was a way to get close. Besides for the two guards her annoying brother was always at the end of the hall from her class. I don't think he knows we are mates since he let her stay but he is definitely going to be an issue. I linked for Ryan and James to meet me back at the bleachers. Once we were all there James asked me what the plan is. "Like Ryan said it's going to be a long game. Let’s stay out here till lunch then we will see how we can push her brother’s buttons." They both shock their heads no but I knew they are excited. When lunch came we waited till the bell rang and headed that way. As we entered, I saw they took up four tables. Natalia was in the corner one being protected by them and her brother stayed in front of them all. Her brother let out a growl and I wasn't going to back down. I locked eyes with Natalia and smirked. I linked with Ryan and James letting them know to follow my lead. We took a table in the middle and just sat toward their pack. I wasn't going to show fear. I didn't care if we were outnumbered. I knew I was pushing her brother buttons. This was a challenge and I wanted to know what he was going to do.
