"Tina, be serious. I know you might be upset about me getting hurt, but you can't blame Em for that." Damian says, putting his arms around her.
"Stop. You know I think fate is in the hands of the goddess, and the goddess just snuck a shift into this house, undetected to attack Em for a reason." She says.

"She is fine." Tina answers before I have a chance to open my mouth. "The shifter was trying to attack her and Emileen set him on fire with her magic. He burst into flames and disappeared. Emileen will fight the shifters.
