I stood frozen in Alexander Stone's dining room. It wasn't just the grandeur of the space that caught me off guard. No, it was the man sitting there. The man everyone had whispered about.
The rumors were lies. All of them.
There were no hideous scars. No monstrous features hidden beneath that infamous obsidian mask of his. Instead, the man before me was devastatingly handsome.
His sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and piercing silver eyes were mesmerizing. His midnight-black hair, streaked naturally with silver, only added to the allure.
