Chapter 51: Only Cassandra Mattered (Alexander's POV) The day had stretched far longer than anticipated, but it was finally over. Cassandra and I exited the ancient halls of the Royal Werewolf Therapy School just as the sun dipped below the horizon. The opulent courtyard, a haven for whispers and machinations, was quieter now, save for the occasional rustle of leaves stirred by the evening breeze. Waiting at the boundary was my personal pack guard, their presence imposing yet respectful. Jane, however, had no such restraint. She surged toward us from the side, her honey-blonde hair glinting under the fading sunlight. "Alexander!" Her voice carried a forced cheerfulness. She clutched her designer bag tightly, a calculated tilt to her head adding to the illusion of casual grace.
