The Untold Story of an Immortal Man

IMMORTALITY

Immortality is the ultimate curse disguised as a blessing. Far too many people want it without really thinking about the consequences after they've obtained it. When they have done seeing and enjoying everything, loneliness kills them from inside and they start wanting freedom from this lonely life.

Lincon was shocked to hear Sheron's age. After a few moments Lincon asked Sheron his secret behind his age. Sheron first hesitated but Lincon seemed very familiar to him so he spoke out his story. Sheron started "I was a successful businessman of my time and my family had great respect from my grandfather's time who was a renowned scientist. His inventions were specific and mind-blowing. My father, Linc Linconson was also a scientist. Once my father found an invention of my grandfather. He didn't know about that invention. 

After searching a lot my father found a very old box. In the box my father found some old research papers and a letter. In the letter it was written that the invention was a time machine". Lincon was very astonished to hear that. Sheron continued "In the letter it was written that the time machine shouldn't be exposed to people otherwise humanity will be wiped out completely from the universe. When I knew about it, I became greedy and wanted to sell the time machine to a group of people. My father didn't want that and accidently my father was killed in my hands while quarrelling. 

When my father died, I was feeling guilty but did not care about one thing. Before he died, he cursed me with immortality. I didn't care that, but today see I am immortal. God has listened to my father and made me immortal. Today still I feel guilty for my mistake. Lincon was almost going to cry when he heard everything. Lincon asked Sheron his grandfather's name. Sheron replied "Lincon". Lincon stood up instantly and without saying anything he came back to his present. While coming back he understood that he didn't find the time machine in the future because he had hidden it. After reaching his present, Lincon destroyed the time machine and all the related documents completely. Lincon then hoped that maybe his grandson will not be immortal in the future.
