It is with humble gratitude that I thank these people for helping me with these stories and with putting together this collection:
Ann E. Stewart, the late managing director of publisher Fresh Ink Group (FIG): Nearly all of these stories were prepped, formatted, submitted, managed, and more by Ann at various times of our long history together. She is remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her influence on how we do things at FIG is timeless.
Beem Weeks, associate publisher, editor, media producer, social-media manager, and more: Beem is the only person I trust to review my material. He offered wondrous feedback for many of these stories. We worked together on choosing, assembling, and tweaking this collection, as well as on producing its promo videos.
