20 I looked out the front window at the snow falling steadily. It had already deep, but it was getting deeper by the hour. Plows were going by regularly, but the road was still packed with a few inches of snow. “What’s wrong, Mommy?” Amber asked. I shook my head. “Nothing, sweetheart. I’m just watching it snow.” “Do you think I’ll have another snow day tomorrow?” she asked. Her eyes were wide watching the snow, and a smile turned her lips up. I nodded. “I bet you will. Maybe Wednesday, too. It’s supposed to snow all day tomorrow.” “Can we go out and play again?” she asked. I loved when she got excited about simple things like playing in the snow. That was what it was supposed to be like as a kid. Play and laugh and have fun. I didn’t have that, and it’s what I always wanted to give
