Chapter 2

Kasandra Pov

After what happened at school I skipped the day after that,I stayed home the entire day doing nothing but eating and watching Netflix.

Getting up for school I decided I'd put more effort into to making myself invisible I mean who wouldn't want to disappear after being humiliated by their entire class like that.

I did my usual routine and got into my car,I stopped by the grocery store and got myself a banana milk and chocolate dessert before making my wait to school.

I parked my car in the usual spot which seemed to have a crowd near it.I got out and grabbed my book bag along with my phone thay was connected to the radio.

I plugged in my headphones and locked my car before walking through the school doors ignoring all the chatter going on around me,I made my way to my class and took my seat right at the back although today there were two extra desks and seats next to mine,did we get new students while I was away.

Suddenly my heart starts beating really loud but it seems nobody else hear's this because no one turns to say something or make a nasty a comment as they usually do.Theres a crowd of girls at the door and I'm unable to see what they're screaming about.

The teacher pushes through and they disperse and that's when I see who the new seats were for,my jaw practically drops.They both look like something out of a fashion magazine, I recognise one as Jeffery Hong he's said to be a child prodigy in the business industry with a royal ancestral background I wonder what he's doing here in our school.

The guy next to him really catchs my eye and I can't help but stare at him and my heart starts beating loudly again,he looks around the class as if searching for something or someone until his gaze falls on me and he whispers something to jeffery before he turns back to me I turn away quickly focusing on my notebook I start scribbling carelessly trying to ignore how my heart is going crazy.

Somebody snatches my pencil from my hand as I'm scribbling,turns out it's the new guy I turn my attention to him trying not to stare again,now that he's so close I study his face a little longer.

Is there anything I can help you with?(Kasandra)

Actually yes,see my cousin and I are new here and I was wondering if you would be our guide.(Xueyang)

I'm sure there's alot of people in this class and school that would love to help you guys out.

I didn't want to sound rude or anything but everyone already dislikes me for some reason so I didn't want the same to happen to them.

I wanted to say no again but something inside of me said I should just do it,I'd probably get backlash from the girls for doing this but it's not everyday two super handsome guys ask you to tour them around.

Sure I'll be happy to help if you insist.

And so we walked to all our classes together,they seem really close almost like brothers.

It was lunch and I pulled out my banana milk and dessert along with my burrito mom got me on her way home last night. The boys on the other hand had gone out to get something to eat so I was once again sitting alone until Brittany ofcourse decided it would be nice to pour orange juice on my lunch.

She opened up my banana milk and tilted the bottle above my head but a hand grabbed her's it was Xueyang,he places the bottle back on the table as Jeffery comes and sits down next to me.

It would be wise of you not to trouble people.

"Why are you concerned with the freak she is nothing but trash",she spat harshly.

Now that's not very nice,leave before I make you!

He got up from his seat and stood in front of her,for a girl who's always acting bitchy she looked terrified and stormed off with her followers.

Thanks guys,I didn't know you were coming back to have lunch.

Well we couldn't let our little fairy eat alone now.

Well that happens to be my favorite and thanks for saving my banana milk.

We ate our lunch peacefully chatting about whatever came to mind.

Although Xueyang seemed to be a person of few words he answered whenever I asked him something and in turn would ask me a question.

We made plans to hang out this weekend and exchanged numbers.Its been a really long time since I've had friends and after what happened with Henry the other year I didn't want a repeat but they're different these Two,they're so easy to talk to and nothing's forced.

After lunch we headed to the lab for our next class and it was weird walking into class with these two on either side of me I felt really scared by all the gossip that's gonna go around school probably something like "the slut is at it again" I mean what is wrong with people.

Sitting through the last period I'm drumming my fingers on the desk instead of taking down my notes and the boys seem to notice this but say nothing.

When will this torture end.

I think I said it a bit too loud since everyone just turns around and burst into laughter however Mr.Steven doesn't find it so amusing and he gives me this look of disapproval.

I wish I could just disappear right then and there but luck was never on my side as usual.

Class ends smoothly after my little outburst and I don't receive detention.

Walking down the hall with these two was like being in one of those musical dramas,too much drama.

I get into my car and drove out the parking lot,the boys follow me in their car which really puts mine to shame.

Not that I was complaining I really loved my car it was a gift from my late uncle so I cherished.

Two weeks later...

Xueyang Pov

Things went well for the first weeks of school,we hung out all the time.

Kasandra was really something,she always made us laugh and our time spent with her wash never wasted.

We were currently seated at our usual lunch table,Jeff and her were watching some crazy show on my iPad.

I was too busy stairing at her to notice the group of people approaching our table,feeling rather annoyed I turned my attention back to my friends completely ignoring everyone else.

We hear a throat clearing and Kasandra turns her attention to me she seems rather unfazed at first then suddenly fear makes it's way across her face,she looked like she was about to cry and I wasn't having any of it,she must have sensed what I was about to do but moved too slow because I was already on my feet ready to throw somebody against the walls.

I didn't like these people and here they were threatening my friend as if I'd let it slide.

"Xue don't we know we can't get into any trouble here",Jeff was trying to calm me as usual but I'd completely lost my s**t when the blond girl spoke.

"We're not here to fight",she says although I can clearly see her shooting daggers in Kassys direction.

One minute she's got this horrible look on her face next minute she's got juice all over her overly tight outfit.

Kassy stood there,a smug look on her face as she dropped the juice box on the table.

I don't want to fight either but you can't come here for no reason and argue so walk away now and we can forget this ever happened

Her words left us speechless since this was the first time she dared to speak against anyone about anything and we were happy about it.

They had nothing else to say so they left seeing they weren't going to win this time they stopped bothering us after that,even turning to the other direction when we walked down the hallway.
