The First Meeting -1

It’s already evening when Jung Kook cleaning and tidying up his working tools with Jin helped him. Today’s task finished earlier than usual, this will make Jung Kook and Jin will have more time to rest. Jung Kook feel very helped after Jin’s presence, his works now lighter than before. He hopes that Jin's curse will be gone somehow, so Jin can live longer to replace him in the future.

“Hey Jin, I have to go to the Sinmu market tomorrow, how if you come with me? You never come out from Golden Flame since the first time you came here, right?” Jung Kook said while his hand keeps cleaning the table.

“Is it okay to go out from here?” Jin asked back.

“Why not? What are you afraid of? Do you afraid of the guards will not let you enter Golden Flame again or you afraid if you will meet those men who had beaten you?” Jung Kook asked.

“No, not both. I just afraid if I went to that market again I will remember about my past or someone who knows me will take and bring me out from here.” Jin answered.

“Wouldn’t that be a good thing if you meet with someone who knows you or if you remember something from your family?” Jung Kook doesn’t understand what Jin thinking.

“Yes, sure it is a good thing, I just started to feel this place as my home.” Jin said.

“I’ll always accept you in here even after you remember your past or after you meet with your family,” Jung Kook replied, “Don’t worry about all of that, just enjoy your life’s, you must come with me tomorrow.”

“Okay, Sir,” Jin replied.

Nothing special going on this night, even their duty was finished earlier but they don’t have anything else to do, so they decide to sleep earlier this night. Jin still not telling to anyone except Mori and his friend about the conversation of 2 mysterious men who want to kidnap the headmaster's daughter last night, even Jung Kook doesn’t know about this.

The sun has reached half spear high when Jung Kook and Jin prepared themselves for traveling to the Sinmu Market, the distance from the Golden Flame sect to Sinmu Market around 10000 steps, they will ride a horse to get there. After everything has ready, they go to the front gate to ask permission for going to the market. The gatekeeper gives some list and a purse full of money to Jung Kook, it was a common thing that every time Jung Kook went to the market, some of the guards will ask him to buy some foods, wine, clothes, or other kinds of stuff and Jung Kook will buy it for them.

Jung Kook and Jin ride on top of the horse and they start their travel to the Sinmu Market, it’s a joyful ride for Jin as he never going out for more than 6 months. Jin feels the trip was very short as they now arrived in Sinmu Market. They get off from the horse and tether in front of the market, it is easier to walk inside the market rather than riding a horse.  

Jung Kook tells where to buy all the food supplies and teaches Jin how to handle the merchant to get a lower price. Jung Kook also tells the strategies on how to get free supplies from the merchant, he will offer a long term contract to the merchant for supplying some kind of food at normal price but in exchange, he will ask to get another kind of food for free, with this strategy he can get many food supplies for free and get the other supplies with normal price. Jung Kook's reputation as chief of the Golden Flame food warehouse makes it is easy for him to make deals with any merchant in Sinmu Market.

Now Jung Kook has bought all the food supplies that he needs, within 1 day all the supplies will be sent to Golden Flame by the merchants. He then starts to buy all the stuff that the guards asked him before, Jin just followed Jung Kook from behind, he already understands all the things that Jung Kook did regularly in this market. It takes a half-day for them to finish their business in this market, and now they plan to get back to Golden Flame.

“Are you hungry?” Jung Kook asked.

“Yes, a bit.” Jin answered.

“Follow me, we’ll buy some foods in here.” Jung Kook said.

Jung Kook and Jin walking to the side area of the market which selling cooked food, the smells of delicious food entering their nose.

“Which one do you want to eat, Jin?” Jung Kook asked.

“Up to you, Sir.” Jin replied.

“Do you see that food stalls right there? That stall is selling my favorite foods, spicy roasted duck, you want to try it?” Jung Kook asked.

“Ok, Sir.” Jin answered.

Before they walk towards the food stalls, Jung Kook stopped moving and he stares at a girl who stands in a florist, she is picking a few flowers. Jung Kook knows that girl, it is Youra the daughter of the headmaster.

“What is she doing in here? Is she alone?” Jung Kook questioned.

Jin never saw Youra before, His area of works only around Food Warehouse and Yellow Hall so he didn’t know more about Golden Flame and he never asked Jung Kook

“Is there anything wrong, Sir?” Jin asked Jung Kook who still murmured.

“Ah yes, do you know who that girl is, Jin?” Jung Kook asked.

“No, Sir.” Jin answered.

“That girl is the daughter of the headmaster her name is Youra,” Jung Kook replied, “Isn’t that strange if she is alone in this market?”

Jin remembered the peoples who wanted to kidnap Youra, and she doesn’t understand that her life might be in danger.  He must tell Jung Kook about this now.

“Sir, I think she is in danger.” Jin said.

“What danger? How do you know? You said you didn’t know her before.” Jung Kook asked.

“I’m sorry to hide this from you, Sir. 2 nights ago I woke up at the midnight to take a pee, that time I heard strange voices near our place. I tried to look for the source and apparently it was 2 persons who were talked to each other, I can’t see them but I heard what they said. They said if they wanted to kidnap the headmaster's daughter, but they didn’t talk about why or when. Those men disappeared when the guards come close in their regular night watch. I had informed them about this, but they didn’t believe me. I kept this information because I didn’t have any proof, Sir. If you want to punish me, I’ll accept it, Sir.” Jin tells what he had heard to Jung Kook.

“Hmm… It was not a mistake if you kept this information, because you didn’t have any proof either. Even if you told me, I also can’t do anything without any proof,” Jung Kook said, “But, since we see her now, at the least we have to tell her about this so she can be more careful and not lurking around alone like that.”

Jung Kook and Jin walking toward the girl and Jung Kook greets her.

“Good day young lady, my name is Jung Kook and the boy here is my disciple, Jin.” Jung Kook greeted Youra.

“Hi Mr. Jung Kook, I know you, you are the chef, right? I often saw you serving the foods to my family,” Youra said, “And hello Jin, it’s nice to meet you, I hope you can learn a lot from Mr. Jung Kook, his foods really delicious.”

“Good day miss Youra, nice to meet you too.” Jin answered stiffly.

“Hey, don’t be too stiff like that, just call me Youra, but, I guess you’re younger than me right? So if you call me that way, is okay.” Youra said cheerfully, the way that makes Jin feel comfortable to talk to her.

“Yes, Miss Youra.” Jin answered.

He didn’t think if the headmaster's daughter will be as friendly as this, at first he was thinking if she will be a cocky girl because of his parent status, but his thought was proven wrong now.
