Deer Dwells Forest

They are still talking and laughing in the middle of the forest road when suddenly something strange happened, the forest becomes so quiet. No birds or any animals sound were heard by them which previously accompanied in their way through this forest, Youra also feels several energies lurking around them. 

“Uncle, I think several persons trailing us.” Youra whispered, even though she is very young but she is already able to feel people's energy around her.

“Maybe they were our sect member?” Jung Kook said as he tries not to make Youra and Jin worried.

“I don’t know, I hope so. Can you fight, uncle?” Youra asked. She worried if they’ll get ambushed by a group of robbers.

“I can’t fight Miss Youra, I'm just an old chef.” Jung Kook replied.

“How about you, Jin?” Youra asked.

“Err… I can’t either, Miss.” Jin replied.

“Okay, just walks normally, let’s hope that they just passing by and don’t want anything from us.” Youra said.

They keep walking but everyone keeps silent, no one cheered as the situation changed from happy to a tense one. Jung Kook tries to look around and he doesn’t see anyone except themselves, but he believed in what Youra has said. As he prepared for the worst things, he then asks Youra and Jin to ride the horse, for him the safety of the kids is the most important one.

“Miss Youra, Jin, hurry to ride the horse and go as fast as you can.” Jung Kook said.

“What about you, uncle? I don’t want to leave you alone here.” Youra said.

“Don’t worry about me, what might happen to an old man like me? Even if they attack or kidnap me, they won’t get anything. But you and Jin are different, hurry to take the horse.” Jung Kook said whilst his hand helping Youra and Jin to sit on top of the horse.

As Jin and Youra ride on top of the horse, Jung Kook hits the horse rump to make it run faster. The horse starts running, both Youra and Jin looked back at Jung Kook, they are regretting themselves because leaving Jung Kook alone, but they know if this is the best option for them right now. Youra and Jin galloping the horse as fast as possible, they want to immediately arrive at the sect to get some help.

The horse still running very fast inside the forest when a man suddenly shows up in front of them and shocking the horse. The shocked horse raised his front leg high, both Jin and Youra were shocked either. Youra is lucky enough and able to hold on top of the horse, but Jin falls down.

“Arrggh…” Jin screamed in pain.

“Are you okay, Jin?” Youra asked.

Jin stands himself up, “Yes.” He said.

They look at the big man standing in front of them and blocking the path. Youra thinks if they were not like any ordinary robber who aiming for money, if they aiming money then Jung Kook should be their target.

“Hey, what are you doing? Why did you block our way?” Youra asked. She doesn’t feel scared at all.

“Between the two of you, who is Ja Som Fa’s child?” The masked guy asked.

That man knows Youra’s father’s name, she is now convinced that these are the men who Jung Kook and Jin talked about, they are the ones who want to kidnap her.

Before Youra answering suddenly Jin speaks, “I am his son, what do you want from me?”

“Hey, Jin, what are you doing?” Youra asked in confusion, she doesn’t think if Jin will say those words.

Jin ignoring Youra’s words, “If you have anything you want with me, don’t involve her and let her go, you can take me with you.” said Jin.

Jin is very sure that this man must be in the same group as the one who wants to kidnap Youra, so he decided to do this to save Youra. He doesn’t care about his own safety, even if he dies because of this, he will not regret his decision. It doesn’t matter whether he dies now or later, his life will not be long enough anyway, at least with his death he can safe Youra, the first girl that he likes, that’s what Jin thinks in his mind.

“Hey! Stop it, Jin! You don’t have to do that, this is my family problem,” Youra said, “Hey, Big guy, ignore him, I am the one that you looking for, the daughter of Ja Som Fa is me.” Youra added.

The masked man looks angry, “Shut up both of you!” he said, “Damn this, why they didn’t give clear information about Ja Som Fa’s child, a girl or a boy.” He murmured.

Jin heard the masked guy’s words and he understands the situation, they didn’t know who the headmaster’s child was, this is a good chance for him to save Youra.

“Don’t listen to her, she just wants to save me. You don’t want to mistakenly take the wrong child right, big guy? take me, I am Ja Som Fa’s child. Can’t you see I am as brave as my father?” Jin said it loudly as he tries to provoke the guy.

Youra starts to feel angry with Jin, “Hey, Jin, stops it or I will report this to my father. I don’t know why you do this but I don’t need your help, just think about yourself.” Youra whispered in anger. She actually knows that Jin just wants to save her, but she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt because of her problems.

Jin doesn’t care about everything that Youra said, his priority now is Youra’s safety, it doesn't matter even if he dies or he will get expelled from golden flame.

“I said shut up!!!” The big guy said loudly, “I’ll take both of you with me, just shut your mouth and quiet.”

The big guy starts to walks toward Jin and Youra. Jin squint at Youra who still sits on the horse, he sees Youra holds the hilt of her sword, he guessed that Youra will attack the guy after the guy is close enough, but he won't let it happens because he has another plan in his mind.

The big guy is now only one step in front of the horse, Youra is ready to attack, but suddenly Jin hits the horse rump very hard. Jin’s actions shocked the horse and make the horse raised its feet high and then run forward, both Youra and the big guy were shocked. The big guy almost gets hit by the horse's feet, fortunately, he can dodge right before the horse's feet hit his head.

“Don’t look back! Run as fast as you can!” Jin screamed loudly.

Youra’s horse keep running forwards, she looked back and sees Jin holding the big guy’s foot as tight as he can, he got beaten mercilessly by the big guy. Youra very confused, his heart wanted her to help Jin, but his mind asked her to keep riding. She then strengthened her heart to keep running because she knows that she will not be able to defeat all the attackers by herself and if they caught her then all that Jin has done for her will be meaningless.

Youra cried as she is very sad because Jung Kook and Jin put their lives in danger for her safety. “Please don’t die Jin, Uncle, I will ask for help as fast as I can.” She said in her mind.

Youra keeps hitting the horse rump to make it run faster. As she finally arrives at the Golden Flame gate, she immediately jumps from her horse.

“Hah… Miss Youra, where are you comes from? How can you go outside? And why are you crying?” Mori the gate officer stands up from the desk and asked confusedly.

“No time... no time to explain… Hurry... hurry up ask some guards to help them.” Youra said frantically.

“Help? Who needs help, miss? Please calm down.” Mori tried to calm Youra down.

Youra takes a deep breath as she tries to calm herself, “I was on the way back from Sinmu Market with Uncle Jung Kook and Jin when suddenly a few men ambushing us, I can escape because they sacrifice themselves for me. Fast, please send guards to Deer Wells Forest, please... please hurry.” She explained in despair.

“Hah!? Jung Kook being attacked by someone?” Mori was shocked either, “Fweeeeet… Fweeeet…” He blew a whistle as a sign of critical situations.

Sang Pil the Chief Commander of Golden Flame Guard heard the whistle, he and his guards immediately rush towards the front gate,

“What the critical situation is? Tell me!” Kim Sang Pil asked with a heavy voice.

Sang Pil was a veteran warrior who’s older than Ja Som Fa, Youra’s father. He is the older brother of Youra's mother and was rumored to get submitted by sect elder as a headmaster, but, he refused and preferred to become a guard. The elders then asked him to become a chief commander.

“Mori reporting, Sir, Miss Youra said if Jung Kook our Food Chief was attacked by unknown men in the Deer Wells Forest. We must send some guard to save them immediately.” Mori said.

“Miss Youra? Hmm…” Sang Pil looking at Youra, “Okay, 10 guards follow me to the Deer Wells Forest, and bring my horse here, Now!” Sang Pil instructed his men.

“Uncle Sang Pil, please let me go with you.” Youra begged him.

“No, Youra, this is a dangerous trip, stay here,” Sang Pil said, “I will questioning you later why you go outside and make yourself in danger, your father will be very angry if he knows.”

Youra unable to refute Sang Pil’s words, she knew that whatever Sang Pil’s has decided, no one unable to change it, she picks to keep silent and doesn’t reply to Sang Pill’s words. What she can do now is only to hope that Jin and Uncle Jung Kook will come back safely.
