Maya’s POV
Gunshots rang loud around the safe house. I stood between two women who looked exactly the same. Both had my sister’s dark curly hair and warm brown skin. Both had her eyes, my legs felt weak. My mind spun in circles. Which one is real? The one who stayed hidden or the one who lived with pain? I feel happy tears and deep fear at the same time. Sarah waited for me all this time. But now there are two of her. I do not know who to trust.
