Jaxson

“I honestly have no idea what’s going on today but I feel off” He quickly typed out the text and hit send. Today feels strange…

Jaxson picked up his backpack and headed out the front door to school.

“Bye Mom, see you tonight!” He shouted into the house as he closing the door behind him not waiting for a reply. I wonder how today is gonna go? The whole world feels like it’s spinning backwards.

Buzz buzz

Jaxsons phone vibrated off in his pocket, he pulled it out.

“Why do you think that is?” The text responded

He looked down at his phone to type out his text when suddenly he was on the ground. In front of him stood a girl who obviously blows through brick walls for fun.

“Hey are you alright?” she asked helping him up.

“Yea I’m good, guess I should watch where I’m going huh?” He said wiping the dirt off his pants.

“Are we gonna do this everyday?” Maddy giggled, looking at him in shock that he let her knock him down again.

“I guess so!” Jax said laughing as he picked his phone & backpack up off the ground.

“Jax, are you good for real tho? Your text seemed kinda serious?” Maddy said holding her phone out for him to look at.

“Please send help!” He read the text out loud,

“I didn’t send that to you” he said, confused.

“Well then who did? It’s from your phone number” Maddy looked at her phone & then him wondering why he would need help? “You sent it at 2:30am, so I’m actually glad we bumped into each other again today!” She punched his arm, “but come one we need to walk or we’re gonna be late..again!”

They started walking a ways toward the school, “Maddy I really don’t remember texting you at 2:30am, I’m scrolling my texts & that doesn’t even say I sent it to you!” Jax said concerned.

“Do you delete your texts at night?” Maddy asked hesitation in her voice.

“No? Do you?” He looked confused, why would someone do that?

“Yea I have for like ever, you know in case someone I don’t want going through my phone gets ahold of it, like my mom or her!?” She said pointing towards Jordan who was now running towards them full cheerleader speed.

“JORDAN! What the hell are you doing?” Jaxson yelled stepping in front of Maddy.

She ran straight into Jaxsons torso wrapping her arms around him with out saying a word. Jax flinched, & tried to pull her off of him.

“Jordan, get off of me!” He tried pushing her back but she held tightly.

“Jax, help me!” She screamed into his chest! “Help meeeee!” She was sobbing.

“Wait! What is going on!” Maddy said looking at the two of them. Jaxson shrugged his shoulders.

“Beats me she’s a drama queen. Jordan, why are you crying?” He said as he pulled the cheerleader off of him finally, Putting arms length between them. “What is wrong with you?”

Jordan looked up at Jax, “it’s Abby! You need to save me from her!” She said crying more than before, makeup running down her face. “S-she’s trying to to k-kill me!” She revealed a very large gash down her right arm.

“Oh my god Jordan, we need to get you to the hospital! LIKE NOW! Where is abby? Is she running after you?” Jaxson said picking Jordan up & carrying her back towards his house, “we’re going to get my car I’ll see you back at school Maddison”

“You think I’m gonna miss out on this drama? I’m coming with you!” Maddy said running back after them.

“Alright hurry up!” They ran back to jaxsons house. “I’ll run in & get my key hang on!” He said tying the code in on his front door.

“Whoa this place is massive,” Maddy said in amazement, “you live here?”

“Yes now get in the damn car!” He said pointing at the SUV in the driveway, “wrap this around Jordan’s arm now!” He threw a towel at Maddy as she ushered Jordan into the car.

“Here, let me wrap that up!” Maddy said looking at Jordan’s arm, “how did she even do this?”

“She took our dads hunting knife out of the grave & was swinging it at me screaming! Her eyes were glowing though! I have never seen her so mad!”

“Well maybe if you didn’t sleep with her boyfriend for sport then she would probably not want to kill you anymore, i don’t know, it’s common sense really Jordan” Jax said starting the SUV, taking off toward the hospital.

“Well for your information I only did it because you were ignoring me all summer!” Jordan shouted, “maybe if you had a little decency to call or text me at least more than once I wouldn’t of slept with him!”

“You guys look!” Maddy said interrupting the quarrel, pointing in front of them. Jaxson slammed on the breaks.

“Oh, Holy s**t, what is t-that?” He stammered staring at the beast I front of his car.

“That’s Abby!” Jordan cried “ reverse! Reverse!”

Jordan quickly threw the car in reverse as the black snarling monster in front of them ran towards the now small SUV.

“What are we gonna do?” Maddy panicked “If that is abby why does she look like that?”

“Jordan you better explain now!” Jax shouted backing into his garage, closing the door in front of them.

SLAM, crash

“Oh god! She’s gonna come through the door!” Maddy yelled, scared of what’s to come now!

“No she can’t it’s steel reinforced my mom had the doors custom made so they can’t be broken into, hurry into the house NOW!” Jaxson ushered them out of the SUV & into the house from the tunnel in the garage.

“Jaxson, you have a lot of explains to do as well,” Maddy said. “Not just anyone has a tunnel & steel enforced doors”

“I’ll explain later, run” he said pushing Maddy into the house. “Ok now I need to know why in the world Abby had gone rogue wolf on us if that really is her!”

“Jax there is alot you need to know!!” Jordan stammered “like this!” She held her arm out the blood was dried & the mark was halfway healed.

“WHAT IN THE HELL!” Maddy & Jax said at the same time.

“Ok, ok, I’ll explain!” Jordan said staring down at her shoes, “you see a few years ago we discovered some family history that..ummmm.. we probably should of never found out!”

“GET ON WITH IT JORDAN WE DON’T HAVE ALL DAY!” Jax screamed looking over Jordan’s shoulder at the large wolf stalking the windows around them.

“I don’t know how reinforces this house is! But we gotta go” Maddy said, turning around back into the kitchen towards the tunnel they just emerged from “like now!”

“Maddy wait! Hang on I have a plan, go to the panic room she can’t get us in there!”

“Wait what! Why do you have a panic room?! Damn this just gets crazier & crazier” Maddy said following Jaxson down a long hallway to a set of stairs.

“Are you coming Jordan? He yelled back”

“Oh, y-yeah, right!” She stammered running after them. “I’m coming!”

“It’s just down those stairs, follow me!” Jaxson said

“Oh god! Down the scary set of winding stairs into the panic room, this seems like a plot from a scary movie I watched once! Maddy said putting her palm to her forehead. “We’re all gonna freaking die!”

“Shut up Maddy, come on” he grabbed her hand pulling her down the stairs fast Jordan on their heels.

“Well looks like you two are close now!” She said looking at them holding hands.

“Don’t start,” Jaxson shot her a look, & dropped Maddie hand. “I am in no mood for games!” He told her “we have too much to discuss today so no bullshit from you Jordan!” He said typing in the code on the control panel.

Beep, woosh

The door opened sliding into the wall behind the panel, “inside now!” He pushed both girls in & turned around to the inside panel placing his palm to the reader.

Swoosh

The door slammed shut. “Ok we’re safe! NOW EXPLAIN!” Jaxson glared at Jordan.

“Ok, but would you look at this place! holy cow” Maddy said looking around the panic room, it looked like a mini mansion version of Jaxson’s house above them. The walls were lined with shelves of antiques collected from all over the globe, floors were marbled, & in the middle of the large room was a wet bar lined with red velvet. Maddy couldn’t believe her eyes.

“Why do you need a place like this?” She spun around looking at Jaxson, “this is incredible, yes but what is it for?”

“Ok wait a second, I will explain everything, promise, but Jordan needs to start talking!” He said to Maddy looking over at Jordan sitting on the white lounge sofa now.

“Ok, pull up a seat. I have a lot to tell you.” She said whit a sly grin on her face patting the leather arm chair next to her.
