17 Everything was white. That was why Harper thought she was dead. That and the fact that her brothers and Sef were all peering down at her in common concern rather than fighting each other. “She’s still pale, but she looks better,” Liam said. Sef nodded in agreement. “There was much to repair internally.” Sef leaned over her and brushed the back of his hand over her cheek. “I’m not dead?” she asked.
