“Definitely,” Jenna agreed. “I think I saw sparks flying between you and Rowan.” Carly blushed, feeling a surge of excitement. “Yeah, there was something different about him. I can’t quite put my finger on it.” “Well, whatever it is, I hope it leads to something amazing for you,” Jenna said, giving her a supportive smile. As they gathered their things and made their way out of the event, Carly couldn’t shake the feeling of warmth and connection she had felt with Rowan. She couldn’t wait to see where this unexpected chemistry would lead. Maybe, just maybe, love was about the unexpected and the inexplicable. As they started spending more time together, Carly realized that Alex was the kind of person she had been looking for all along. He was understanding of her busy schedule, supportive of her ambitions, and most importantly, he never played any games.
