Chapter 3 The Meander Canyon Near Talling/Maisy The Gramarye October 1840 The Meander Canyon is located in the deep south of the Gramarye, in a torrid, sun-scarred region called Maisy, renamed from Talling by the Trade. When Great Quillia first arrived in the Gramarye and explored the area, Talling had offered little; no crops, little livestock, few people and a small uninspiring fishing port called the Moon Docks, named after the shape of the bay in which it was located. The food was also uncomfortably spicy, which the first explorers found curious considering the lack of water.
