POV: Haven
It's Tuesday. I meet my birth parents today. I'm so nervous. Raphael told me they won't be here until after lunch. We continue the day like we always do. I'm with Penny. She says she won't be here next week but will be back because she's going to visit Caroline.
I don't know why but I get this bad vibe about Caroline. Its like she's not who she appears to be. Almost like she's a snake in disguise. I don't know. I'm probably wrong. It's most likely just my fear to trust people and it has targeted Caroline for some reason. I just try to ignore it.
"Hey you know what we should do? Let's go make some brownies." Penny says. "Yeah that sounds great." I agree. I miss baking. We start up a conversation about how my mom owns a bakery and I would help out there and bake with her.
