In Luling, Ellie had let her Uncle know she was leaving. While she and Cole were waiting for the three-day waiting period to pass, she sorted through her apartment and packed what she was going to take with her to Wyoming. She packed some in boxes to fit on her plane. She canceled the lease on her apartment and put her furniture in storage, in her parent’s garage, for her sisters to use when they ready to move out on their own.
