In Wyoming, Cole and Cory were spending time on horseback. They were both picking up speed in the practice field. They were also becoming better with their roping. When they were not practicing, they rode out with George when he went to check fences and to check on the horses.
George decided they all needed a break, so he packed a picnic and rode with the boys out to their favorite picnic spot. They spent an enjoyable time with George relaxing while the boys wandered around. Cole showed Cory the things Alice and George had shown him on previous visits.
They came back to the blanket and joined George. The boys looked up when there was the sound of a helicopter flying overhead. The helicopter hovered over them and the pilot waved. George and the boys waved back at him.
