CHAPTER 5
Sunny extended her stay with her cousins. Morgan managed to get away each weekend and they spent the days and nights together. Carol and Connie joined them briefly and covered for Sunny with their parents. Sunny did not want news of Morgan to reach her dad before she could talk to him. She knew her dad would like Morgan, but he had to get to know him. Word of mouth would not help. It would only make him worry.
Morgan had three more weeks left on his contract with the oil company when he visited for the weekend, and Sunny surprised him. She had arranged for a license and for a private wedding for the two of them.
