George had explained to Cole about the video call. He told Cole the call was scheduled for the next day, Cole had been walking around with an excited look on his face all day. When the next day dawned, Cole could hardly sit still.
George took him down to the pasture to spend some time with Frankie and to keep him occupied until time for the call.
“But, Dad, what if Cory calls while we are not there?” Cole protested when George asked him to accompany him to the pasture.
“The call cannot be put through until Cory goes for his riding lesson. I will get you back in plenty of time,” promised George.
