My heart was pounding. I couldn't breathe. I clutched at my chest, willing the terror to subside. It didn't. I stumbled through the door into Lina's room and gasped for air. Jackson stood straight up and I vaguely felt Everett and Sarah at my heels, asking if I was okay and telling me to calm down. As I saw her laying right where I left her, still fast asleep, I finally started to get some air in.
