“You should rest for now.” Lucius calmly said in a bid to soothe his troubled wife. “Don't worry, I'll rescue them.”
“Lucius, maybe we should just give in. What if something happens?” Rachel questioned in a clearly panicked state.
“Nothing will happen. You have my word.”
Rachel stared blankly at him but ultimately chose to believe in him.
So far, he hadn't failed her, so she would believe he could save her parents.
“Alright.”
“Make sure to stay here, alright?... Don't go anywhere, don't take any calls.”
“Lucius…”
“Promise me, Rachel. Promise me you won't go anywhere.”
Rachel ultimately nodded. “Alright, I promise.”
