Prologue

Trust. Five letter word, hard to make it work.

Betrayal. Eight letter word, the reason why we did not work.

But what if, married life is just the beginning of the story? What if marrying the man that you love will only cause you pain and sorrow?

I used to be a girl who knows nothing but to dare to love and hate, I used to fall in love very quickly to any random guy I find interesting, but not until I met Jion. The guy who I truly love who ripped every pieces of my heart.

I am Cassiopeia Madrigal-Silvius, the wife of Jion Syke Silvius who decided to let go and left him five years ago.

"Cassiopeia I had you once and I will definitely have you back again, and that's a promise."

My whole body shivered as he said those words... But I won't let him notice that I am scared. I looked at him straight in the eyes with so much bravery even though I am scared to his so called promise.

I smiled at him sarcastically.

"You won't."

I do not want to go back in his arms again. I do not know why he wants me back but on thing is for sure...

I am not the Cassiopeia he used to know and I will never repeat the same mistake I have done before.
