Betrayed
I was stupefied at what he said. I think I misheard him. "What?" I asked in a whisper, my knees weakening. He just stared at me.
"We will get married an–"
"Tell me you're kidding," I smiled sarcastically. I shove the headmistress' hands that were holding me. I went straight to Caius, anger forming within me. "Tell me you're f*cking kidding!" I shouted at him. I don't care who is watching us right now. I need to wake up in this dream. This is all a dream.
"I'm not, Elara," for the first time he called my name again but this time his voice was very ruthless piercing into my heart.
He wasn't kidding, I can see it in his eyes. This is what I feared the most. Him loving someone else besides me. It never occurred to me that this will happen but reality slapped me again.
