"Why hasn't Lin Xiaonian arrived yet? Is she just as dawdling at home?" Namek looked around, as if searching for something. Eventually, picking up the glass of wine. Staring at the red, cloudy liquid in front of him.
Lifting his wrist, he looked at his watch. It was then that he felt that she had been gone too long and had just picked up his phone. A glimpse of a figure across the street made him stop moving.
"What took you so long to get there?" No sooner had she sat down. A refreshing cup of lemon tea had been placed on her table. And smoothly took the bag from her hand.
Suddenly, she flinched for a moment.
Touched by being taken care of, very.... Sweet.
"Lin Xiaonian. The flowers are all gone." The scene in front of him clearly caught Namek's attention, and the teasing factor had grown rampant within.
"I'm sorry." Again the harsh look. She felt a cold chill run down her back. Could it be. Was it the ice water from earlier?
I heard that Mr. Ming hates people who are not punctual. Lin Xiaonian, you're really good. You're so good at finding things to do for yourself.
I blame myself for being nosy. It's not like I bumped into things. That's why I was delayed and late.
"We've just arrived too, no need to apologise." Seeing her little face turn waxy. He soothed gently.
"What just arrived, I've had a few drinks. No, three glasses of wine forfeit." The more ambiguous it felt, the more reckless he became.
"OK, OK, fine, punish me, I'll drink." Snatching the bottle out of Namek's hand. Poured it straight in. Not allowing him a chance to retort.
What a big loss today. Lin Xiaonian, you know you can't drink. Don't volunteer to come. Okay, you promised to come, so don't be late. For the sake of your vanity of pleasing the leader. Well, before we even start, we're being punished with a drink. Luckily. Brother Bing Yang is standing in for you. Otherwise. I'll see how you'll get on.
"Stop. Stop. There's time for you to drink later. Right now, it's time to punish her." Snatching the glass out of his hand, Namek was firm.
"Nin doesn't know how to drink. I'll drink for her." Ignoring his objections, he reached out with a long arm. The glass was back in his hand.
The long neck is tilted.
The thin lips have not yet touched the cup.
Suddenly.
The wine glass was stiffly snatched away.
"Today is the day you are reunited and I should toast you," white hands held aloft. Showing white teeth. She smiled brightly: "Blessings on the long-lasting friendship between Chief Name and Brother Bing Yang."
Ignoring the two pairs of stunned, deep eyes. She tilted her head and took a drink. Instantly. The glass was at the bottom.
At once. A strong odour poured from the mouth. Then the skin all over the body immediately burned. It was as hot as fire.
"Lin Xiaonian, you're a good drinker." Namek said in amazement and appreciation. In his hand, however, he did not forget to pour wine into the empty cup. "Bing Yang, didn't you say you couldn't drink? I see. Quite good."
Another full glass.
Lin Xiaonian, just admit your bad luck, who told you to show off your authority.
Forced to hold back the bitter taste. Burning cheeks already flushed. She grinned. "This cup. It's to our famous chief."
"Drink slowly, Nin." Before the words were out of his mouth, the clear goblet was at the bottom again.
His thick brows tightened. An outstretched hand. Paused in mid-air.
Eventually. Still put down.
"It's okay, Brother Bing Yang, today is a good day. I still have to toast you. Chief Ming, fill it up for me." The large empty wine glass was handed to his eyes. Through the light, the scene outside the window had turned blurry in his her eyes.
The bitterness of the taste crawls down your throat. There was a powerful current in her body like a volcanic eruption. She felt her brain clouding up.
"Nin, are you all right." The flushed face had spread to the heel of her ear. At the moment, she was like a pink carnation. The fragrance of the carnation was diffused.
"I'm... I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm still. To make a toast." Confused, she picked up her glass. She still had to drink.
" You're all drunk, Nin." Gently stroking her back. A hook of his long fingers. The glass had been snatched away.
The glass of wine in her clenched hand was suddenly swept away by another large hand. She suddenly loses her weight. Dizzy, her head tilted straight downwards.
An inch away from the table, his body was suddenly tightly encircled. I could not move.
She was in my arms. So petite. Gazing at her with pity. The small, scarlet face magnified in the eyes of the ice ocean. Her faint gasps could still be heard.
His heart. Suddenly.
Stunned.
"I... I didn't. I'm not. Drunk. Brother Bing Yang." The finely arched willow brows furrowed into a frown. Giggling at him.
His gentle face suddenly sank a point. There was no forewarning.
"She really can't drink eh. It's really convincing," Meide shrugged despondently. Sadness was written all over his worried face.
I can't believe it's gone so quickly. Not exciting at all. Would have liked to tease her properly.
"They said she couldn't drink." Cold lips pursed as he blamed Namek.
"Lin Xiaonian really likes to show off." Namek said matter-of-factly. Not noticing the unusual face across the room at all.
"I'm... I'm not drunk. I'm not drunk. I'm... To drink." She burst out struggling with her body. Trying to get up.
She was in a panic to support her as she swayed. Afraid that she might fall to the ground if she was not careful. And she was restless. But she broke free even more.
Solitary. Not waiting for her to stand still. He made a strong effort. Picked her up straight across the room.
"Namek. Your house is nearby, right?" the girl needed rest. He would take her away.
"Really?" Not waiting for Namek to finish. Xia Bingyang's hurried figure had long since headed for the restaurant's front door.
The sturdy body picked her up as she moved about. It was no strain at all. Naide looked at her back as she walked out of the restaurant. He smiled helplessly.

The sky under the night city is dotted with stars. A bright moon hangs high above the clouds. However, the men in the car had no time to admire it.
"If I'd known this would happen, I wouldn't have agreed to let her come along, no matter what I said." Through the rear-view mirror. The view from the back of the car was predictable.
She was completely intoxicated. Being tightly circled in Xia Bingyang's arms. Mouths screaming indiscriminately. The sound was loud and piercing.
They say. It's the drunk who is the truest, and at this point, is it in her nature?
The tranquillity is gone. A little. Insanity.
"Uncle.... Uncle..." Another shrill cry. As if to shake half the earth.
The sound was infinitely amplified in the narrow space. Amplified again, piercing deep into Namek's ears.
"I can't stand it, Ice Ocean, hurry up and cover her mouth."
Caressing her hair, he leaned in close to her. "Be good. Uncle's here." His voice was low beneath his sensual lips.
". I'm back, Uncle." Hands climbed up Xia Bingyang's neck. She smiled brightly.
A smile that blossomed like a flower. Clearly presented before his eyes.
Fierce.
