My heart was uncontrollably beating in my chest as I exited the underground tunnels on the East side of the pack.
I never knew of these tunnels running under the pack, yet again, I wasn't very fond of exploring the pack grounds in depths when I was younger.
"Go that way!" Callan demanded and pushed me forward toward the rocky cliffs.
I complied like a coward... like a small mouse trapped in a cat's claws...
I internally sighed through a shiver... Things would have gone way differently if it wasn't for the pups I was carrying...
I would have shifted into Lidia and tried to escape, but I couldn't get it over my heart that I might hurt my unborn pups during a shift... especially if there was a chance that I was pregnant with Dustin's pup...
