Ace linked him the moment the van rolled to a stop at the pack house. Her fingertips were still tingling from the bass of the club and from Allen’s kiss, but she pushed that to the back of her mind. ‘Should we meet in your suite or office?’ she sent, trying to sound neutral. ‘Office,’ came Kai’s reply almost instantly, clipped and low, his mental voice steadier than it had been earlier but still rough around the edges.
