“Your acting is not so bad, Kate.” Mr. Ashish said as he put his hand on my shoulder. I faked a smile at him. “Come on, you need to take the antidote as well.” He then pulled me back into his room. Just when he didn’t pay attention to me, I took the chance to send Mason a text message. “Help me!” and put my phone back in my pocket. “Take this…” he handed me another bottle of antidote. I drank it in one gulp. Mr. Ashish kneeled in front of me so that our face on the same level. “You know what, Kate? I believe fate has brought us together.” He stroked my cheek with his fingers. His hands were cold. My fear becomes doubled as he continues to touch me. I hold my breath and squint my eyes.
