I finally finished the food after a torturing fifteen minutes. I don’t even chew the food and directly swallow it. They taste so bland. The nurse smiled at me, meaningfully, “Since you have finished eating your food, I have good news for you.” She said as she took the empty tray in her hands. I looked at her, confusedly. “And what would that be?” I asked her back. “Your wife is already awake this morning.” My heart jumped excitedly. “What did you say? Is that true? Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” I asked, half complaining to her, and quickly got up towards ICU. She shook her head as she smiled.
