Chapter fourteen I was sleeping, and I got caught in my dream; hypnotic, sweet and languid, like melted butter. His arms lifted me and led me into our usual waltz. “I could fall in love with you,” I whispered, sinking my head in the groove between his shoulder and his neck. “Lucky you” he whispered.
