Once they arrived at the packhouse, Leo took Cora to the hospital. "What has happened to my little girl?" Cora's father, Henry, asked. "Daddy, it is nothing." "It was defiantly something since I had to intervene." "Prince Leo, what an honor. I was not aware you would be arriving so early." "Well, it was not planned. I found my mate only moments after the assembly ended, and I was astonished to see her hurt by three girls I assume are in this pack. I could smell their scents in the foyer of the packhouse," Leo informed Henry. "Cora, is this true?" " Yes, daddy, Ally, and two other girls, I do not know the names of, cornered me in the girl's bathroom. Ally had claimed she was going to be the future Luna. She got mad when I told her that the Moon Goddess wouldn't make someone self-centered and rude, a Luna. Ally punched me in the face while her goons hit me until I was on the floor. Then they kicked me until they had broken a couple of my ribs," Cora told her dad and the others while sliding into a hospital bed. "Alright, I will take care of them. Jennifer, can you come reset her bones?" Henry asked while walking out. " Yes, Beta. Rebreaking your nose is going to hurt and cause you to bleed. Would you like to change clothes?" " No, it's okay. I already have blood on this shirt; I will go home and change once I'm clear." The nurse nodded her head in acknowledgment. She went and gathered up everything she would need to reset everything.

"How come you don't live in the packhouse?" Leo looks at Cora, confused. "It puts some of the pack members on edge having full-blooded and half-blooded vampires in the packhouse, so when my mom and dad found out they were going to have a child, they decided to move to their place to everyone at ease." "I don't understand how you are a mate to Leo. I mean, your parents are Betas, correct?" Aiden asked Cora. "Aiden!" Leo scolded his brother. "No, it's okay. My mom was supposed to be Alpha when she found her mate, but when they met, mom found out that dad was a vampire. They discussed their options; then they talked to my uncle, Alex's dad, who agreed if they became Betas. After that, a meeting for the pack was held for pack members to vote on what they wanted. After that, more people felt comfortable with my uncle as Alpha, even though he is a half-witch as well," Cora explained as the nurse finished grabbing everything she would need.

"Are you ready, Miss Cora?" The nurse asked. "Yes, let's get this over with," Cora answered as she grabbed onto Leo for support. The nurse started with Cora's nose first; when the bone snapped in place, Cora's fangs made an appearance that scared the nurse. "Cora, honey, how is anyone supposed to fix you when you are scaring them?" Her mother, Betty, asked. Cora retracted her fangs, "Sorry, momma, it just hurts a lot. I had no control over them," She responded to her mom as they broke her ribs and began to remove her shirt to wrap them. This earned a growl from Leo, which made every male turn away in submission, and Betty looked at him with interest. Cora tried to fix it quickly, "Mia, Alex, why don't you two give Prince Aiden a tour of the packhouse." "Actually, I need to go see my dad about some pack transfers. Maybe Mia could do it by herself." "Okay, what would you like to see first?" Mia asked Aiden, leading him from the room.
