Cora and Mia's parents came toward them as they crossed the courtyard. "Are you all headed to Alpha Ethan's Office?" "Yes, we are. Why do you ask Dad?" "Well, Mia, we were called by Alice. Alpha wants us in his office after the incident this morning." "I hope you all don't get in trouble for this. It's my fault. I sent the guards away," Aiden said as they reached the top of the staircase. Walking down the hall, they heard, "I swear it wasn't me. I didn't do it. I would never do any harm to the Prince." "If it wasn't you, who was it?" Cora asked as they came into view. "I don't know; I was there, but I wasn't in control of my body." "I've heard of this before; only those of the Magick Kingdom can do it, but they have to be very powerful," Anthony told them. "Is it like being possessed or something?"

Mia asked. "That is precisely what it is, Mia. My question is, why would someone possess Ally to harm the Prince?" Betty responded. "The better question is, who would want to hurt Prince Aiden this badly to either possess her or pay someone in the Magick Kingdom to do it?" Ethan asked out loud. "Until we find out who and why there need to be guards around all of us. At least two per royal as well as Mia and I. Uncle Ethan, you need at least one in the pack hierarchy. Also, one for Anthony and Alex." Cora stated. "I agree wholeheartedly; Jack, why don't you choose the guards today during training." "Yes, Alpha, is there anything I should be on the lookout for?"

"Don't be scared to pick half-bloods and hybrids; those will be our greatest strength right now. I'll bet you anything the enemy will think they have scared us into not using them," Henry responded while nodding towards the Alpha to get the okay. "Yes, I agree; some of our best warriors are not just wolves." "Umm . . . What about me? What are you going to do with me?" Ally demanded. "You are going to return to your cell until we can decide on a proper punishment," Ethan answered. "Punishment? I just told you I wasn't in control of my body." "I do believe that you attacked Cora during the assembly at school, did you not?" "Well . . . Well, I did, but I was not alone," Ally replied, hanging her head in defeat. "Who else was with you?" Ethan asked gently, using a technique he was taught at Alpha school. "Jessica and Amber, Sir." "Alex, mind-link a couple of warriors and have them bring the two girls to my office."

A few minutes later, Jessica and Amber were forced to their knees by the presence of their Alpha. "Jessica, Amber, do you know why you have been brought to my office?" Ethan asked, walking around his desk. "No, Alpha," Both girls responded. "You have been brought here to be placed under arrest for the charge of knowingly assaulting a future pack hierarchy and queen." "Future queen, who Cora, you've got to be kidding me," Jessica laughed. "Don't you ever talk about my mate like that again," Leo growled, making Jessica jump back. "M . . . Mate?" Amber asked. "Yes, Amber, I am Prince Leo's mate, and Mia is Prince Aiden's mate." "That can't be; Prince Leo is supposed to be my Mate! The warlock said if I helped him, he would make me your Mate," Amber rattled on, looking at the floor. "What do you mean to make you Leo's mate?" William growled. Amber bit her lip and looked up, "I don't know how he was going to make me his Mate, all he said was he was going to replace my mate bond with a lycan from the Royal pack." "Why would he replace your mate bond?" "My Mate rejected me, but he didn't say it correctly, so I still feel it every time he is with another girl," Amber told them while fidgeting with her hands. "Why did he pick Leo to be your new Mate?" "I don't know; he was biting my neck when he told me this." "Can I see the bite mark?" Henry asked, walking forwards. "I guess I have been putting a cream my mom made on it," Amber said as she pulled her collar aside to show him. Henry reached down and ran his fingers along the bite, "Does that hurt?" Henry asked as Amber flinched away. "My mom said it was a little purple this morning." "Whoever this is doesn't know how to feed properly. Do you see how it's turning her veins purple? She'll be dead by tomorrow night." "Is there any cure, Henry?" Ethan asked. "Unfortunately, not that I know of, but I can try to contact my dad to see if he knows of anything. Until then, it's probably best to make her comfortable." "Amber, we need to know exactly what the warlock asked you to do?" Betty asked, getting on her knees in front of her. "He gave me a tonic and told me one of my friends was going to be very sick; he said to offer it to her and tell her my mom made it so she would drink it. I am sorry; I didn't know it would make her attack people." "It's okay, Amber. We need to get her hospitalized and make her comfortable till we find out what to do. Ally needs to return to her cell, and Jessica can be put in a cell." "Yes, Sir," All the guards said in unison. "You're all dismissed."
