We were on our way to Monterey. My husband Bill had scheduled a golf weekend at Pebble Beach with his normal golf foursome. Although not interested in golf I could easily spend the weekend shopping in Monterey, Carmel, and Carmel by the sea.
At first my husband was reluctant. He was not sure how his buddies would react to him bringing his wife. He was surprised when they sounded enthusiastic. So we packed the kids off to their grandparents and off we went.
I love his foursome. They are all great guys. Jim and Brian were friends from high school. Bill had kept in touch with them all through college. As they had all grown up in the same town they all settled close by and maintained their friendship. Kip
