Two cops, one big and muscled and one VERY big and muscled, guns drawn but pointed down.
"Thanks for coming, guys," I said. "I'm the cop that called you."
"Can you prove it?" Big said.
That's when I realized I was naked. Not that the cops would much care; we see that kind of thing all the time.
"I don't seem to have my badge on me at the moment, but we can go upstairs and get it after you guys clear the downstairs."
"Jesus Christ," Very Big muttered as he looked over my shoulder. I turned to follow his gaze and saw Dawn and Mary Beth coming down the stairs. Neither one of them had taken the time to put anything on.
"Dawn, Sweetie, can you please go back upstairs and bring down my badge? It's on the nightstand that the Glock was in."
