While Cindy’s sudden action caught everyone’s attention, Sebastian was the one who was most irritated with such mischievous move especially that he is on a very important business call.
As soon as he looked back to where the sound was coming from, he was immediately taken aback at the sight in front of him as his heart started to fluster fast.
Theresa was like a true princess earlier, but right now she is like a true goddess. She is wearing this time a cocktail dress version of her wedding gown earlier. It is a queen anne neckline, embedded with light pink rhinestone that glimmers in her every move paired as it flowed down to a natural kind of flowy tulle skirt that sways along in her every step.
Her once braided hair that was in a floral bun is now being laid down in big wavy curls that is being side swept with her pink and white Swarovski headband crown giving the final goddess look and Sebastian couldn’t be more impressed with how lovely Theresa looks now.
Afraid to show his true feelings, Sebastian was quick to change the topic to divert everyone’s attention and not to notice his reaction except for Rupert who saw the glow in his eyes the moment he laid eyes on Theresa.
“We shall head now back to the dinner hall, everyone is waiting already. I need to be back to the city tonight. So I want this done ASAP!” Sebastian announced coldly as Theresa only kept quiet as she nodded and bowed her head.
As soon as they started walking, Sebastian immediately noticed Theresa was slightly limping. He knew very well Theresa was good at walking in any kinds of shoes may it be in high heels or flats, he knew immediately something was wrong.
“Why are you limping?” Sebastian suddenly asked coldly as Theresa stopped and glanced at him.
“Oh, I think I had scratch my foot when I went up the stairs earlier and it keeps on touching my sandal straps. But-“
Sebastian then glanced at everyone including the stylist who followed close by.
“And no one even noticed? Or you just made her wear the heels even if you noticed it?!” Sebastian suddenly spoke midway Theresa’s explaination.
“Get her flats now!” Sebastian added angrily as he shook his head.
Everyone was stunned by Sebastian’s reaction just now, especially Theresa who felt warm for his care for her despite acting rudely. But it all changed when Sebastian added another statement.
“You all are making me more delayed!” Sebastian added angrily.
Theresa took a deep sigh hearing his statement. “I thought he was starting to open up already, I guess it’s another wishful thinking again.
Theresa thought to herself as she clenched her hand slowly into a fist.
And everyone felt the same way Theresa felt. But in reality Sebastian meant what he said earlier, he indeed still cares for her – a lot. He just don’t want for Theresa and everyone to feel hopeful towards their relationship. He knew Theresa will get tired someday and he knew it would be hard and more difficult for him, but if it will give Theresa a future of happiness then he would endure it all.

As soon as they arrived outside the Dinner hall, everyone then went inside as Theresa and Sebastian remained outside while waiting for their cue to get in.
Theresa remained quiet, unsure of what to say. Sebastian on the other hand did not know what to do and what to say to her. So out of nowhere, Sebastian suddenly held Theresa’s hand making her froze in shock as she slowly glanced at him.
Sebastian on the other hand looked at her as he softened his expression for that second, and in that perfect timing where they were somewhat lost in each others eyes, the door suddenly opened as everyone witnessed the lovely sight of the 2 in front of them.
Sebastian was quick to notice the cheer of the crowd as he immediately looked away and spoke softly.
“Let’s do this quickly, so we can end early.”
Theresa who was still lost in her feelings did not say anything and only nodded. Sebastian’s touch brought back so many memories that gave a tinge of hurt in her heart.
” Where did my loving Sebastian went. He was the most pure and caring person I have ever met. What happen to him- what happen to us?” Theresa thought to herself as they slowly ascended inside the dinner hall while everyone cheered and clapped for the newly-wed couple.
Though they have never really officially dated, but what they were previously was, exactly just the same as that. No one ever dared mentioned or asked anything since both have been very private about their true relationship, including Cindy and Rupert themselves. They just wanted it to be the way it is.

The night somewhat went on fast just like how Theresa earlier expected. There was dancing and singing, everyone greeted them warmly and both have been welcomed to each other’s family openly. Though the 2 barely talked but Theresa felt satisfied that he was able to stay and finish the entire program since she already expected for him to rush everything.
As soon as the program came to an end and while Theresa was busy talking to her mom and Sebastian’s mom, Sebastian suddenly interrupted them.
“Excuse me ladies, I would like to inform you that I need to leave already.” Sebastian spoke as Theresa stayed calm since she knew this was coming.
“Son! You just got married why are you living so quick?” Mrs. Smith answered in retaliation as Mrs. Wilson agreed.
“Sebastian son, work can wait. Why not spend time with Theresa here in the island for a couple of days.”
But suddenly as Sebastian was put into a tight spot while forcing a smile, his dad suddenly came over when he overheard the conversation.
“Daisy, Eve. Relax- Our children will have a lot of time for that, Sebastian needs to be at the city already especially now he will be officially looking after our families businesses. He has a lot in his sleeves.” Mr. Smith spoke as he tapped on Sebastian’s shoulder.
“William, please. Our son just got married. Let him enjoy and rest for a bit.” Mrs. Smith answered back.
Theresa who was quiet the whole time felt very tensed and worried about how Sebastian would react, as she was about to say something her mom suddenly spoke.
“Theresa dear? Do you have something to say?” Mrs. Wilson asked Theresa as she caressed her back sensing her daughter’s uneasiness.
Theresa forced a smile and looked at everyone.
“It’s fine, Uncle William is right. There is still a next time. I will go back with Sebastian in the city, you all can rest and enjoy the week here.” Theresa answered making Sebastian shock with her selfless response.
“Look how considerate my daughter-in-law is. Dear, don’t call me uncle, call me dad okay?” Mr. Smith answered in a hurry as Sebastian shook his head in dismay with his dad’s reaction.
Mrs. Wilson wanted to confront her daughter but instead ended up respecting her daughter’s decision.
Sebastian on the other hand was pissed for being in the tight position earlier, but having Theresa in that same tight position pissed him the most. Sebastian did not say anything and immediately pulled Theresa away from the crowd.
“Theresa, why do you have to say such foolishness?!” Sebastian asked angrily.
“You wanted this day to end so badly and quickly right? My answer is the safest for the both of us and for them not to notice anything. I- I couldn’t think of any better answer to our parents other than the one I said.” Theresa answered quickly as she tried to explain herself.
“Fine!” Sebastian answered as she sighed deeply.
“I will go ahead and get myself ready, please inform them of our departure in my behalf and please wait for me in the lobby.” Theresa answered as she left immediately.
Sebastian was somehow saddened by Theresa’s action and gesture know, but he knew she was just trying to defend him and was only avoiding further interrogations from their mother’s. He felt very bad for her, but was somehow glad to know that she chose to come with him even if he can’t profess his true feelings to her.
“Mom, Dad and Mom Eve. We will be leaving tonight. Theresa went back to her room already to prepare, I will wait for her in the lobby.” Sebastian spoke as he reached their parents.
“Okay son, send Theresa back to your house first so she can rest. We have already rearranged and prepared your house for the 2 of you.” Mrs. Smith was the one who answered first and Sebastian nodded.
Sebastian was not able to step foot into his own house for over 3 months since it has been renovated. Though the 2 was gifted by Theresa’s dad with a mansion of their own, but Sebastian requested they leave in his house instead for a couple of months or perhaps a year before they will transfer to their mansion.
They did not dare asked his reason and instead respected it, but Sebastian did not have the heart to step foot on that said mansion because he only gave his self a year to make Theresa fall out of love to him. Keeping the mansion clean from Theresa’s heartache is the least he could do to pay respect to Theresa’s late dad.
As Sebastian was about to leave, Mrs. Wilson went over to him and spoke privately.
“Son, can I talk to you for a moment?”
“Sure, mom. How may I help you?” Sebastian answered as she assisted Mrs. Wilson towards a nearby chair.
“It will be the 1st time Theresa will be spending most days with you and it will be the 1st time you both will be leaving together. Please take care of my daughter, Sebastian. She might be all over the place at times, but she has a kind and genuine heart and I know you know it. I saw a hint of sadness in her now, and I don’t want to interfere. But if you 2 have been arguing, don’t go to sleep mad at each other, talk it out first. Remember that both of you are as one now, so you both must have each other’s back.” Mrs. Wilson paused as she reached out for Sebastian’s hand. “We are always here for the 2 of you.”
“Thank you Mom, I will keep that all in mind.” Sebastian answered briefly but his mind had a lot in it as his heart felt every single guilt he had inside him.
“Good, I won’t keep you hold for long. You 2 better go now.”
Sebastian then stood up and bid farewell to Theresa’s mom and to his mom as well, purposely neglecting his dad.
