After the wolf took a quick run in the woods, it returned with a playfulness that Red hadn’t seen before. “Do you want me to follow you?” She asked trying to interpret his behavior. When it sprinted into the woods ahead of her, she took it as a yes. Stepping outside, Red left the cave for the first time in days. It was nice to freely walk in the woods again even though Red wasn’t sure how free she was. It had been two days since she had taken refuge in there and he had warned her that it might take the wolves three days to lose interest in her.
