2541 Words
The prince searched and searched for his princess. He looked every where but couldn't find his princess. The prince was very sad and just wanted his princess. After searching for her for a long while he sat under the shade of the tree and stared at the stars. He remembered how they both sat down under the stars and talked and laughed. Kai sighed as he looked at the stars from his balcony. The prince looked longingly at the stars as if remembering his princess. Kai remembered the 4 year old girl always running behind him and behaving like a mother hen. A sad small smile came on his face. He missed those days. They were happy and peacefully. "Please take me to my Princess." He ordered the stars. "I miss you so much. I wish you were here and then we will play together like before..." Chu..chu...chuu.. The Prince was interrupted by the mouse. "But there was no mouse in the story." The 3 year old girl pouted and complained to Savannah. Anna gave a playful stern look to the little girl wrapped in blanket. Anna continued. The mouse was the closest companion of the princess. He was with the princesses from many years. The Prince immediately recognized that the mouse was Fredrick. The Princess's mouse and he took him in his hands. The mouse squeaked and ran away into the forest. The Prince followed the mouse into the forest. The mouse went deep into the forest and entered a small hut. The Prince also entered the hut. He saw a girl back and she was holding the mouse. Petting it lovely. "Zarah is that you?" The Prince asked hesitantly he didn't wanted to be hopeful and then sad again. The girl was shocked listening to the sound of her beloved. She turned around happily saying "Derek?" The Prince was so happy that he for a moment stood frozen at his place. Zarah ran straight into the arms of the Prince and hugged him. The Prince also hugged the Princess. The Prince's wish came true and he took the Princess to his castle and the lived happily ever after. "Story finish. Let's go to sleep now." She hurriedly finished the stupid story she made up. Savannah kissed the forehead of the small girl and all the children. As all of them slept together in a single large and big room. She climbed the bed and squeezed her petite body with Flora the 3 year old girl that requested to hear a bedtime story from Savannah. A unique story from Savannah for her and all the children. And Savannah told her the story "Rescued by Mouse" to honor the mouse which helped her in escaping the predicament. Those men left. Taking all the records and files about the children that came to the orphanage. Especially of girls. They were probably searching for a girl. Savannah's eyes were wide open as she looked at the ceiling and the big chandelier hanging. The whole room was dark except for the standing lamps at the corners of the room. There was little yellow light coming from the lamps. Savannah was already late and decided to stay the night here. She also missed these cuties very much. But the main reason she stayed here was for the safety of them. Although the mansion was located in the woods but it was well protected. There were electric wires on the walls surrounding the mansion. And security guards were also on patrol. Savannah wanted to make sure that those man in black won't come back and cause them problems. She remembered how a fight was about to break out. ......... A few hours before. Savannah swiftly went out of the room and went to the taxi. Thankfully the door was not locked so Savannah hid the files beneath the seats. Looking at how the man were searching the files, if they by chance and by Her unluckyness got to know that she had hid some files then it might cause a problem. She just didn't wanted to take risks so she hid them beneath the front chairs perfectly. Savannah glanced in the direction of the store room and went in the mansion shrugging her shoulders as if she wasn't interested or curious about what those unknown people were doing. While on the inside she was dying to just go inside and eavesdrop and look what there were exactly doing or probably searching for. The most important question was How and Why did Stacy allowed them to go through the files. She didn't allow me. Even once. She strictly forbid me to even enter the store room Anna thought. A pout nestled on her face on this unjust behaviour. Those men came out carrying all the files after two hours. Savannah was looking at them from window of the mansion. Stacy stopped those men. "Why are you taking the files?" Stacy asked coldly and with a powerful gate. The leader was also adamant on his decision. He had to and will take these files. "We need these files for investigation." He said coldly. "What kind of investigation? These are the files of the children of these orphanges. These are not allowed to be sent to any other person coming and taking these files for every investigation. If you want to have investigation use your intelligence and departments." Stacy said hardly and angrily. She wasn't going to let these men take the files of those innocent children for no reason. "We have to take these files no matter what." The man also said gruffly. "Why for what?" The man didn't replied for a while. Savannah was looking at everything from the window. Stacy gestured the guards to take the files. Just as a guards touched the box of files another man punched him on the jaw sending him to the ground. The orphanage guards pulled out their guns causing the men in black suits to also pull out their guns. Stacy stood in her position with a straight and cold face. Savannah was impressed by the old women's bravery. Savannah took a deep breath and walked out of the mansion. In the setting sun and silent area her foot steps caught the attention of everyone. She smirked internally. But her expressions showed that she was nervous and scared. "There are children inside what's going on. Why are these people carrying out the files of the children of the orphanage?" Savannah looked at the guns pointed at each other afraid and nervously. "We need these files for investigation." The man said irritated. "These files are not allowed to be given to any person coming here and conducting types of investigation." Stacy said hardly. "What type of investigation?" The man didn't said anything. Stacy glared at the man unfazed of the guns pointed at each other. "These police officers came before and also searched for the files of some children. These files are 11, 12 years old and I don't understand what these people are exactly searching for. I can't allow and compromise on the safety and security of my children." Police Officers? Oh dear do you think these people are from police. If they were they wouldn't have pulled a g*n against civilians. They would kill us without blinking an eye if we resist. "Are you Police officers." The leader without blinking affirmed that they are from police. Woww. Savannah's devilish mind gave her an evil idea. If she succeeded she might get a piece of useful information or in another situation she might just have to go UP. The other UP. "I will call and confirm with the Commissioner for what did he need these files." Savannah said as she pulled out her mobile phone. "Commissioner?" The leader asked. His face although showed no signs of nervousness or problem. As if a mere commissioner was no one in front of them "Yeah he is close friend of my family." Savannah lied through her teeth. She looked at them through her hooded eyes. They aren't stopping me. Savannah gulped thinking that she will go up with her plans drown that too in deep water. She proceeded with her plan and was about to press the button to call..... When the man spoke. Finally. Was it necessary to nearly give me a fright if you were going to speak. Anna gritted her teeth. "We are searching for a girl." Anna raised her eyebrows. "Your searching for a girl. From these 12 years old files.?" She questioned. The man was about to reply but was interrupted by a call from no one other than his boss. The man immediately attended the call. "Boss." "Did you finish the work?" The cold voice from other end asked. "Yes Boss. Almost." "Is there a problem." The voice turned more cold and evil. "No Boss." "Hmmm." "Soo, I was asking..." Savannah reminded him of the topic. "Yes we are searching for a girl" The man repeated the same line. The man lowered his phone without cutting the call. He thought that his Boss already cut the call like always. But he didn't knew that the call was still connected. All the man had already put down their guns back. Anna gritted her teeth as she said. "From 12 years old files." The man only raised his eyebrows. "She would have already grown up." The man just looked blankly at her. He was getting late and the boss will kill him if her didn't completed his task. Kai heard a woman's voice that was slow and cold and was somehow a little gentle at the same time. From the way of her talking he got this sudden feeling that the women was of a higher status and not to be messed with. Since she was talking to his men with this strong tone of voice he could easily say that the women was brave. He was about to cut the call when he heard her voice and his hand stopped on his own from cutting the call. "She must be important that you are searching for her 12 years later." She was mocking. The man scratched his neck irritated. "She might have died already." "It's already been a decade since she was lost what might have happened to her." Savannah couldn't control her tongue. She just said what was in her mind. Or what came from the bottom of her heart. She was getting hyper. Her eyes stinged a bit, because of dust probably. Her cold voice rang in the dark study room. Kai was listening to her with his eyes closed and head rested on the back seat of the black leather swivel chair. He fisted his hand in anger listening to her. She isn't dead. She is alive. She can't die like this. The man stood there unfazed. . "How lucky she must be that people are searching for her even after 12 years. Tell us something about the young girl at that time so we might be able to help you." The leader irritated, opened the top two buttons of his shirt causing his coat collar to turn a bit and her eyes landed on the golden mark on the inner side of the collar of the coat and that was enough for Savannah to stop from further using her mouth and tongue Anna said swallowing the small lump that formed in her throat. "She was 4 year old when she got lost. White, pretty..." Her heart burned. B******. Savannah laughed coldly. Kai also heard her cold laugh that caused him to look at the phone as if wanting to look at the cold voice's owner. "Since you are searching so sincerely than we shouldn't and wouldn't disturb you guys. You guys can take these files. And if there is any additional information related to the girl do inform us we will help you if we could." Savannah wanted them to go from here as soon as possible she didn't want to provoke them more as they were already on the edge of bursting. Kai cut the call and immediately called again so that the man would hear him The man picked up his phone again and before he could say anything Kai said. "she had a bracelet of red and black. a very unique bracelet." Kai immediately told him. "tell them about it." "Ok Boss." "The girl had a black and red bracelet. A very unique one." All colour drained from Savannahs face. She doesn't wanted it to be what she was thinking about. It won't be. It can't be. Savannah was already afraid seeing the golden crown sign on the man's collar and listening to him only caused her breath to stuck in her throat. Stacy also paled a little but maintained her composure just like Savannah. Savannah looked at Stacy finding her already looking at her. Stacy didn't said anything. The driver which no one knows when came and stood beside Stacy also just looked at Savannah. "I don't think there was anything like a unique bracelet I ever saw. What about you Aunt did you saw anything like a unique black and red bracelet." Savannah acted naturally despite the storm, a tornado, going inside her. Stacy also shook her head as she said. "I haven't seen anything like that." "Ok, we will be leaving then." the leader said. "Sorry for the inconvenience. Do come in for a cup of tea." Stacy offered as she apologized. "No thank you." The men left with all the files. Savannah and Stacy looked at them going away putting them in an internal storm. What do they actually want? Stacy ordered all the guards to return to their position. The driver uncle Stacy and Savannah walked back inside the mansion in complete silence. Stacy and Savannah entered the study room without sharing a single word. Just as the door was closed and locked. "Forget what happened tonight. Do not be impulsive in front of those men if they ever come again. We can't afford to mess with them." Savannah said in a grave voice. Stacy nodded seriously. It won't be a good thing to be act rashly. "About the...." Stacy wanted to ask about that thing and how Savannah will of would deal with it. if by chance they come after her. "Forget it. You haven't seen any bracelet in this life and Erase todays memory. Nothing happened and Nothing will happen. Just continue like before. But be more..No..Extra careful from now on. And rest assured I won't let anything happen." Savannah commanded as she assured Stacy and Herself. Stacy didn't know that those people were not from any police wolice but f******** Mafia. She would have already fainted on the spot if she knew that she was being brave in front of Europes Mafia. Savannah decided not to tell her as not to worry her much. Stacy will be really afraid and will fuss much and Anna didn't wanted anyone to get hurt. She will keep Stacy and her little bunnies away from any and every kind of harm and problem. This is her promise to Stacy to them(children) and to herself. *************
