42. Sandwich

Savannah splashed water on her face. She has been doing this for the past five minutes.

Anna looked in the mirror. She have opened her braids and her wavy hairs were set free. Her forehead wound was healed but the slight line showing even after the make up running from the middle of her forehead to the back of her ear did remind her of the brutality of the bitches.

She traced the line with her eyes on the mirror.

I will not accept this treatment silently. Just you all wait.

Savannah dried her face with tissue paper. Her clothes sticked to her like a second skin and the white shirt beneath left little to imagination.

Thank God she ran away before anyone could find out that she was wearing a b*a full of pink pink unicorns.

Savannah tightened the uniform coat around her and decided to change her clothes.

Thankfully she put her spare clothes in the locker before running to the class.

Savannah ran to her locker room on the fifth floor and opened her locker took her clothes and again ran back to the washroom. The students gave her weird glances.

She was so used to these weird glances that she is now habitual if these things.

They can go to hell from her side.

Savannah changed her clothes and combed her wet messy hair with her fingers.

Anna returned to her class and the 3rd lecture was going on after that was break. Steven was not present as he had already done his work.

The sound of chair screech grabbed Kai's attention. he was irritated now if anyone disturbs him again he will surely beat them black and blue so the next time they won't dare step in a meter radius around him.

From when the girl has started to sit next to him his peaceful sleep always gets disturbed.

He didn't well no one thought that she will come back to the class after being humiliated.

Savannah opened her mobile and directly opened the school forum.

The way Steven came after the fight with Kai. Anna guessed that someone has informed him about her that's why he came running with water.

Savannah gritted her teeth. They wont let her have a moment of peace in this school.

She have already been so busy since the day she stepped foot in this school.

First, She was welcomed with food on her very first day.

Second, her teacher has been caught by a cruel Mafia.

Third, She was beaten black and blue.

Fourth, The blonde bastard won't leave her.

Fifth she have to find her sensei. because the police won't be of any help.

Sixth is the one she is ignoring and will ignore.

She didn't even want to think about it.

Savannah closed her mobile. She didn't read any comments.

Why? because she knew what kind of hate will be written there.

Because she doesn't care at all.

They can think whatever they want. It's none of her concern.

In the break, Savannah didn't go to the cafeteria. Because Mr.Hudson had already given her a lunch box. And she knew very well that the students might be...No will certainly be waiting to teach her a lesson.

Savannah was angry at this moment. And will fight with everyone who will come after her.

She in all seriousness was copying the notes of Chemistry. Her lunch box was open and she was eating the sandwiches every now and then.

What she didn't notice was the black eyes staring at her.

The main reason why no one was coming in the classroom to mess with her was sitting beside her.

Kai looked at the girl as she continued to write on her notebook. Her brown wavy hairs were open and she has out down her spectacles. The sunlight coming from the window illuminated her white face and she every now and then tucked the few hair strands that come on her face due to the wind coming from the window. Her thick brown hairs looked more beautiful in the sunlight. And her lips nibbed on the sandwich taking a single bite and putting it back. And she chewed the bite while writting.

She is beautiful.

She probably removed her spectacle unconsciously as she didn't removed them before.

Kai was observing her every action. He didn't knew when he started observing her.

She was silent after she came back from the washroom, drying her self. Accept for softly asking for notes from the boy sitting in front of her he didn't heard her say anything else.

Is she angry.

Of course she would be.

Savannah suddenly turned her head in his direction. Kai was shocked but didnt showed, and wasn't able to turn his eyes and was caught by her light brown eyes.

Her eyes shined in the sunlight.

Both of them looked at each other in silence.

His face is beautiful.

Savannah thought with hearty eyes but she composed her self as not to embarrass herself more.

I wasn't drowling on his looks.

Savannah shook her head to remove his beautifully carved face from her mind.

Kai's eyes widened a little with her sudden head shaking and his lips curved up a little. She looked like a kitten shaking her head.

But he soon recovered his blank face expression when she looked at him.

Did he smile just now?

it's probably an illusion.

This one won't even smile even if he topped in the whole school.

Savannah asked him what he was looking at with her eyes.

Kai just stared at her which looked like another glare to her.

And he turned his head towards the window Again.

Anna rolled her eyes and her hand went to her lunch box. She picked up her kabab sandwich and was about to take a bite when she stopped and looked at The cold Prince.

Was he looking at me eating?

Is he hungry.

does he want my sandwich.

Anna looked at the only sandwich in her hand.

She pouted. It was the only one remaining. She had gobbled down the rest of it.

Should I give it to him.

He didn't ate anything in the break time.

And the break is also about to be over.

Savannah put the sandwich back in her lunch box.

Come on you can do it. Don't touch him just touch him with the tip of your pen so even if he became angry he could only break and throw the pen not you.

Kai was just about to stand up when he felt something poking his arm.

He gritted his teeth.

What does this women exactly want?

He turned around ready to give her another glare.

Just as he sat straight and looked at Anna. She forwarded her lunch box to

him.

He looked at her and then at the lunch box with a questioning gaze.

What is this now?

"Since you wanted to have my lunch you should have just asked me and I would have shared it with you..."

What the Hell?

"you don't need to stare like a hungry wolf ready to pounce on my sandwich.( She out the lunch box with a sandwich which she gave to him putting a stone on her heart.)...have it the break is about to be over."

Savannah then again started to do her work.

Kai just silently looked at her than turned towards the lunch box.

It was the first time someone offered him lunch. All the other students just looked at him from far. His glare was enough to keep everyone away but she.

She didn't seem bothered by his angry glare. She even offered him lunch.

Kai was really hungry as he didn't ate breakfast. But it was very difficult for him to casually pick up the sandwich and eat it. He looked at the sandwich and it looked really yummy with cabbage and mayonnaise.

He wanted to eat it but he just doesn't know how to.

pick it up and then take a huge bite it looks tasty.

But WHAT... just eat it already. His subconscious whined.

I dare you say No to the Sandwhich.

His subconscious raised his eyebrows

Even his subconscious was arrogant, it didn't wanted to say thanks.

Neither do I. Eat it already.

He stared at the sandwich with his angry eyes.

It was the first time he was angry on food.

Savannah looked at him, founding him staring at the sandwich she thought that he didn't wanted to eat it.

Of course why would he want to eat something coming from someone poor and disgusting like her.

Savannah thought disappointed.

"if you don't want to eat it. it's fine don't stare at it with such anger."

Savannah's voice interrupted Kai. He looked at her.

Anna picked up the lunch box and was about to take it away when Kai's hard hand clasped her soft one.

His hands are a little rough.

Her hands are soft.

Should I press it.

And he did.

"Ayeee..." Savannah shouted a little and Kai immediately loosened his hold on her hand but didn't left her hand.

"Why did you pressed my hand.?"

Savannah asked a little angrily trying to free her hand from his grasp. but he didn't let go.

Kai looked at her and said after whole 1 minute gap.

"it's soft"

Savannah took a deep breath and her nose flared in anger.

What was she? A pillow that he will squeezed whenever he want. For Gods sake there are freaking bones in her hand. how can it be soft?

"since you have given it to me. you can't take it back."

Kai said in his deep voice but he wasn't angry.

Anna gave him a confused look and then he gestured with his eyes towards the lunch box she was holding and he was holding her hand that was holding the lunch box.

"you want to eat it."

Savannah questioned.

Kai nodded stifly. He wanted to eat it but didn't wanted to say that he wanted to eat.

"Have it then."

"put it on the table."

Kai said.

Savannah glared at him angrily. She shrugged his hand away and

BAM..

She lightly banged the lunch box on his desk gave him a glare and turned towards her work again.

Kai slowly picked up the sandwich and looked at from all the angles.

Savannah looked at him from the corner of her eyes.

Looking at him looking at the sandwich as if it contained an atomic bomb she was angry. Very angry.

I won't offer him food even if he faint because of hunger next time.

Kai again looked at Savannah and very slowly took a bite. This was probably the very first time he was having homemade food in school.

The food in mansion was similar to the food served in a 5-star restaurant.

He took a small bite and chewed it savouring the taste. Taste of homemade food.

It's tasty.

He thought.

He took small bites of the sandwich so that it would last long and he could get this homey feeling for a little longer.

Savannah looked at him again to see if he ate it or not.

And finally, he was taking small bites of the sandwich.

Anna smiled lightly.

He looks cute.

Why is he looking like a lost child?

Kai looked out the window while enjoying his sandwich.

Anna looked at the side profile of the handsome boy.

He deserves the title of Prince.

Her beat raised when she looked at him elegantly with his long fingers taking a bite of the sandwich.

He is elegant.

Aren't you praising the previous Ice bastard very much now suddenly.

The smile vanished from her face.

Savannah focused back on her work.

Why wont this sandwich just finish already.

She was angry now.

Aiden who was frozen on his place couldn't believe his eyes.

He even rubbed his eyes thinking that it was an illusion but it wasn't.

IT WASN'T.

The Great Kai Anderson was having a sandwich. That to given by a girl.

Maybe he didn't think of the ugly girl as a girl that's why he was eating it.

But he won't even accept a pencil from someone and here he was eating a whole sandwich. A freaking sandwich.

"Wow"

Adrian nodded his head. In his shock he even forgot the words to say.

After a while he noticed that it wasn't him who spoke he looked beside him and was started finding Steven, who stood beside him on the entrance of the class from the back door.

Steven smirked looking at the scene. It was just as shocking for Steven as it was for Adrian.

He knew him well. After all they were once best friends.
